It works better then the comcast. the comcast cable modem was very iffy

This cable modem works way faster than the cable modem provided by Comcast and it saves me money on Comcast monthly fees.

I was using Comcast/xfinity cable router w/WiFi modem, was not able reach to few areas of my house but this C7000v2 is simply great with fast reach. Love it… I am glad I made the move to this router!

This was inserted right after my comcast cable modem to split my home network into two separate lans without incurring a performance hit. Which my tests say it does. Happy Holidays in about 30 minutes! One lan is for testing, the other lan is for the home office. Being able to do stupid/fun things on one side and not impact my responsible work on the other lan was the goal. This unit fits. Surprisingly, the GUI is usable on my phone, my table, and PC. Lots of options, a lot of configuration control. Plus has console access (CLI, if ever needed). Online active support forum for questions. Uses a wide variety of affordable SFP interfaces (optical and copper) Hasnt hiccuped. Fun stuff IMO. Looking forward to learning more about/using the built-in sophisticated firewall capability. Based on my experience with this initial purchase, feel confident/inclined to purchasing managed switch(es) for some VLAN experimentation. Appreciate that B&H packaged it well.

I had some issues with my Netgear Nighthawk 2.5 Gbps Cable modem activation which turned out mainly to be a Comcast issue. However I first contacted Netgear and the tech very meticulously walked me through the faultfinding and we were able to activate the Modem. I had to follow up service with Comcast to get their side of the issue resolved.

This card is very solidly made. It is an Intel chipset, and uses the Intel WiFi drivers. The heat sink is generous and I cool it directly with an internal fan mounted in an empty I/O channel slot. This card supports the AX family of high speed network protocols. It connects seamlessly with a Comcast/Xfinity cable modem. I went wireless entirely because Comcast has restricted port forwarding to wireless devices only. This WiFi adapter is 10 feet from the Comcast WiFi modem, and offers nothing short of blazing performance for a Minecraft server. It works flawlessly with Windows 10 Pro. I had no need for BlueTooth, so I left the provided USB cable uninstalled. The magnetic antenna base is solid and very effectively mounted on top of the system case. IMO, this is a 5-star product that leaves nothing to be desired.

I bought this wifi router and a cable modem last month when I cut the Comcast cord. It was a little more expensive than the Netgear wifi router I have used in the past, but I went with it because I use a Synology NAS, which I also love. This device does not disappoint. Technical specs are outstanding, the software is great, and set up was a breeze. We are heavy internet users and this router is the best I have ever used.

Bought product to replace my cable modem with comcast. Works great and saves me monthly rental modem fees!

The Netgear Cable Modem was easy to set up and worked with my Comcast internet. I was also able to seamlessly set up the Netgear Nighthawk Router to work with the Modem. Both work great together! Now if I could only get faster internet speed!
