For some reason it is not easy to find a splitter that simply WORKS! In the past I had two that did not work at all and prior to this purchase I tried the StarTech 3.5mm Combo Jack Splitter (also from B&H). As my third try, it also did not work and I replaced for this one (Belkin Speaker And Headphone Splitter Black) that finally did! So I'm not even considering the sound quality, I'm just happy it works fine! 5 |

this product work ok for me a little slow when using the ethernet cable no matter hte lenght of the cable, that device will be use for remote checking birds nest and collect picture from remote DSLR. 5 |

I'm using this with my Macbook Air that only has USB-C ports and no ethernet port. This adapter worked right out of the box to give me an ethernet connection. Just plugged the ethernet cable in to the adapter, connected the adapter to the CPU's USB-C port, and my computer connected to my work network flawlessly. The wifi at my work is not great, so this adapter is giving me a fast network connection now through ethernet. I did a speed test and I'm getting approximately 500mbps upload/download speeds with this adapter, which is fantastic. I also appreciate that the adapter has LED indicators. One light shows there is a connection (green). The middle light shows there is power (White/blue). And the 3rd light blinks orange to show there is activity. Having these lights could come in handy if I need to trouble shoot, which is very helpful. The build quality is also really good. This feels like it will last a long time. The cable seems sturdy and the ethernet cable plugs in securely into the adapter's port. Overall, I'm happy with this adapter and it is working very well.
