Ethernet Controlled Power Switch

Good quality Ethernet switch.

This switch is small, and the best feature is that it can be powered either by POE or USB C and I used the POE power. This switch quickly adopted into my Unifi system, and it just works. If you only have one ethernet port and you find you need more connections (like behind a TV) use this switch and powered via POE and plug in your TV, PS2 or PlayStation or other devices. I have two printers and only one ethernet drop at the location in my house, so I used the POE to power the switch and used 2 cables from the printers to the switch and it works great.

Nice little POE powered switch, that also provides POE power to the output ethernet ports. Just be sure you know the maximum watt per port on the switch feeding the power to this switch, and be aware that this switch itself uses some power (around 5w if I recall correctly). Also, keep any eye on the maximum watt usage of clients you connect, e.g. my security cameras use roughly double the power when they turn on IR lights at night. (~3w daytime, 5+ in the dark) A nice addition to the Unifi collection, plug in, adopt, we're online, and with information about power use on every port, etc.

We have 2 TVs in a High School that we use for digital signage. We had used other vga over ethernet adapters but we ran into picture quality issues. Using these with an additional receiver we were able to hook these up to our network switch and had no issues. Picture and audio quality is perfect. Since we use managed network switches we created its own VLAN for 3 ports so other network traffic was not effected. If you don't use managed switches buy a cheap $40 5 port switch and it's a plug and play installation. I like the suggestion from another reviewer about having these devices having the option for power over ethernet. Anything that doesn't require a separate power adapter is handy.

I got this to connect my laptop to a Ethernet switch. It also ended up working fory Nintendo Switch. Works well.

Use surge protection on these (power and ethernet) and they'll last forever.

Switch is well built with no need for power.

I needed a LARGE Uninterruptible Power Source for an industrial grade Flat Bed Printer. It needed to be single phase 208V, 3,000VA output capacity. This unit by APC weighs in at 105 pounds so it's no light weight! Unpackaged and set up in a matter on minutes as the factory default settings is adequate for the intended use. The machine can be configured for use in a data rack where you can set it to for a controlled shutdown of servers and after power is restored a controlled restart, selecting 3 different power zones to restart in sequence to get your network back up and running without any user input needed. It is about the size on a large desktop computer and comes with Data Rack mounting hardware or can be used with included floor stabilizing feet.

Nice an bright. I use it in a Lowell Flood got reception and interviews...controlled by a dimmer switch.

This switch works so well I bought a second one. Plug it in, connect the ethernet cables and it works flawlessly!
