Ethernet Controller Driver Asus

better design, faster internet. works with my OS. needs driver download from asus website.

Since this device is so new, the device driver for Wi-Fi and Ethernet is not in the installation software for the operating system. You must connect an external USB Wi-Fi so that it can download the device driver from the internet. Other than this hiccup, everything works fine. I bought three.

The assembly was easy, and the driver installation was easy, and the ethernet cable connection was easy, and paper roll loading was easy, and then the plotting worked well. Only glitch was the driver software creating two printers, and no documentation on which was which (one was ethernet and one was USB).

This adapter works well with Linux, but will require the user to compile the open source driver and install it. Careful instructions are on the web. I use it on a workstation normally attached to ethernet, but occasionally in need of wireless access. Quick speed test on a strong signal was about 250Mbps (650Mbps on ethernet).

Can't believe this 10G PCI card bringing such amazing speed to my old Asus MB, all I need is to install the Asus driver and restart. Works like a charm, best investment for win10 in years.

It works, however the driver on ASUS' website were causing my input devices to stutter and the adapter didn't seem to work that great either, downloading the drivers straight from Intel (Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX200) solved all issues. Another thing to note, is the Bluetooth capabilities require a spare USB2.0 header on the motherboard, to where a cable from the card connects to. It was never mentioned anywhere, but aside from that, it works.

Hi - To begin with, I'm a fan of ASUS products. And I have recently completed a system build, in which most components were the newest types. The parts may have been 'too new' for the Microsoft installer, which gave trouble. - When I added this card to a system working with onboard video, Windows loaded drivers immediately. However I had the latest driver package from the nVidia web site at hand. The nVidia installer asked me to choose a driver top-up or a clean install. I recommend the clean install, which is easy and only requires one reboot. I am using the HDMI connection, and so far the graphics card has been flawless.

I use this controller for up to three PTZ 30x cameras, via PoE Ethernet. Nearly every feature of the camera is accessible through this controller. Besides pan, tilt and zoom, I regularly use manual exposure control, and up to 10 preset positions for each camera. A particularly nice feature is the ability to attach an HDMI monitor to view the currently selected camera via Ethernet RTSP. You set the speed one notch below that of your HDMI or SDI video. This is an essential feature when working with software (e.g., WireCast) or hardware (e.g., SlingStudio) which has a significant lag time. The monitor lag is only a few frames, which is easy to accommodate. I ultimately bought two Superjoy controllers, because I rely on it for nearly every job.

Ethernet cables are ethernet cables, but these are fine!
