Ethernet Controller Not Showing In Network Adapter

I'm using this with my older Macbook pro that does not have USB-C or ethernet ports. I just plugged this adapter in my USB-A port and it worked right away. The computer saw it and connected to my network without any issues. This will come in super handy when I need the fastest signal possible. Or if the wireless connection is spotty. I did a speed test with this adapter connected and I was getting over 500 mbps upload and download speeds on my work network connection, which is as fast as I can expect to get. I'm happy with this adapter and it would be hard to beat at this price. This is a very affordable solution if your computer does not have its own ethernet port. I'm using this with my Macbook Air that only has USB-C ports and no ethernet port. This adapter worked right out of the box to give me an ethernet connection. Just plugged the ethernet cable in to the adapter, connected the adapter to the CPU's USB-C port, and my computer connected to my work network flawlessly. The wifi at my work is not great, so this adapter is giving me a fast network connection now through ethernet. I did a speed test and I'm getting approximately 500mbps upload/download speeds with this adapter, which is fantastic. I also appreciate that the adapter has LED indicators. One light shows there is a connection (green). The middle light shows there is power (White/blue). And the 3rd light blinks orange to show there is activity. Having these lights could come in handy if I need to trouble shoot, which is very helpful. The build quality is also really good. This feels like it will last a long time. The cable seems sturdy and the ethernet cable plugs in securely into the adapter's port. Overall, I'm happy with this adapter and it is working very well. Not much to say, it's a USB to Ethernet adapter. Works exactly like you would want it to.

I have 2 of these now. They allow me to connect up to 7 additional ethernet ports to my network. All is working as I expected.

I received my controller adapter quickly and it works well.

Plugged in the unit, synced with WIFI network, only showing one band connection. Went through procedure to link second band and nothing. Some minor confusion with instructions regarding a dual band router setup. Found out that it separated the bands on its own (just added the “EXT” for the second band 5ghz channel), just had to give it some time to complete the task.  Contacted support regarding setup via chat and they were a bit surprised about how it did this on its own too. Haven’t had any dropouts or loss of signal. Working Great!
