Ethernet Over Coax Network Adapter

This unit is great for getting 2 channels of audio into your Dante network. Just be sure you have Power Over Ethernet, either from your switch or from an injector, and off you go!

I'm using this with my older Macbook pro that does not have USB-C or ethernet ports. I just plugged this adapter in my USB-A port and it worked right away. The computer saw it and connected to my network without any issues. This will come in super handy when I need the fastest signal possible. Or if the wireless connection is spotty. I did a speed test with this adapter connected and I was getting over 500 mbps upload and download speeds on my work network connection, which is as fast as I can expect to get. I'm happy with this adapter and it would be hard to beat at this price. This is a very affordable solution if your computer does not have its own ethernet port. I'm using this with my Macbook Air that only has USB-C ports and no ethernet port. This adapter worked right out of the box to give me an ethernet connection. Just plugged the ethernet cable in to the adapter, connected the adapter to the CPU's USB-C port, and my computer connected to my work network flawlessly. The wifi at my work is not great, so this adapter is giving me a fast network connection now through ethernet. I did a speed test and I'm getting approximately 500mbps upload/download speeds with this adapter, which is fantastic. I also appreciate that the adapter has LED indicators. One light shows there is a connection (green). The middle light shows there is power (White/blue). And the 3rd light blinks orange to show there is activity. Having these lights could come in handy if I need to trouble shoot, which is very helpful. The build quality is also really good. This feels like it will last a long time. The cable seems sturdy and the ethernet cable plugs in securely into the adapter's port. Overall, I'm happy with this adapter and it is working very well. Comes with phone cable, Ethernet cable, coax cable all of high quality. This is one of the highest joule rated surge protector. I'm going to buy another one... This is my second. The other one is on my entertainment system with a ton of power blocks and cable. Ohh... Did I mention this has an electric noise filter? A great feature for those sensitive electronics and will notice cleaner audio from your speakers. Plenty of power outlets never have to worry about having enough jacks.

Used this for a elevator camera conversion. This allows you to use a single BNC coax cable to power and connect a Ethernet POE camera. You only need to supply 24vdc to the near end converter. It also extends the operational distance limitations. very nice

Great slim design for behind TV with phone, ethernet and Coax protection. Very easy to install and use.

We use the Palun converters for converting cameras that were installed over Coax and we want to convert them to Ethernet. They work great for this application and allow you to keep moving without running new wire.

Just moved into a new construction house where the builder didn't think to run ethernet to every room. He did, however, run coax. Although I have zero intention of getting cable tv, it looks as if these will run cable box/tv coax pass through. I just had fiber installed in the basement, and ran out from the fiber router via ethernet to one of these, then plugged that into the coax that runs to my living room. I put the other MoCA adapter in the living room, plugged it into a 5 port switch which is connected to my SmartTV and PS4. Within 15 mins, I'm streaming 4K on my new tv, while having a rock solid connection speed on my PS4, and not noticing any load impact on my wireless network. Works like a charm. If you unplug ethernet devices, you may want to power cycle the receiving unit, in order to get a fresh IP.

Not much to say, it's a USB to Ethernet adapter. Works exactly like you would want it to.

We had a Non-APC vendor power surge protecting our outside cable coax line and a network cable coming into our house from the outside (my husband does astrophotography in the backyard and needs network connectivity better than wireless.) Well lightning struck the back of our yard and took out BOTH the coax and Cat5e network cable, long with very piece of IT gear we had. It took 2 weeks to get us back up and running with Comcast. I'm hoping this does better. We are using both the network and coax surge protectors and most of the plugs. We are crossing our fingers.
