I have four of these, configured as access points. That means I have an ethernet cable connecting each to my router. It provides outstanding WiFi coverage to the rooms these are in. The 5G network in particular is crazy fast; I get 500+ mbps/s on my phone. I generally don't recommend extender mode, in which these units relay your phone's wireless signal to the router, via another wireless signal. 5 |

I'm a novice and have been using an ASUS wireless routers for years. Bought this AP22 and a 1930 switch about a year ago from B&H. Made a pfsense box out of an old pc to do the router and firewall The whole setup has been running well without issues. Extremely stable. No more resetting the router or Wi-Fi.
