This is my 2nd video Doorbell from this company. If you put in a micro SD card it will record video without the card it only does a picture. There are no monthly fees. If you want to pay for monitoring they don't do that. I had a Ring doorbell and it will not record anything unless you pay at least $5 a month. You can call the company and they will walk you through how to install on your home computer where you can also view the videos at no extra cost. I have called them a couple of times and the on hold time is not bad at all. 5 |

Excellent doorbell camera. Provides full video before and after actual event, unlike the Eufy that we replaced. Love the simple door bell chime that can be plugged into any outlet, including a nice selection of tones. All-in-all, very happy with this purchase, easy to install and more reliable connection than our Eufy requiring the limiting HomeBase. 5 |

I prefer this doorbell over the RING I had previously. Internal micro SD for recording, is a great feature. Cloud service (monthly fee) not necessary. Lorex security cameras are high end so expected a quality video doorbell as well. Happy with purchase. 5 |
