Eufy Video Doorbell Camera

Excellent doorbell camera. Provides full video before and after actual event, unlike the Eufy that we replaced. Love the simple door bell chime that can be plugged into any outlet, including a nice selection of tones. All-in-all, very happy with this purchase, easy to install and more reliable connection than our Eufy requiring the limiting HomeBase.

Use it in the kitchen, photo frame, speaker, streaming the Eufy doorbell. Everything works great so far !

You can use this doorbell by wired connection or it’s powered by battery. The video captures a wide angle and provides an alert to your phone when there is motion detected. One really great feature is that you can speak to the person outside your door when they ring the doorbell. It is compatible with Alexa making it super convenient. I highly recommend this doorbell!

The app is also easy to use and it’s great to be able to see the videos right there in the app. The doorbell has a nice chime, not too loud or obnoxious like some! It’s amazing that there’s no commitment or monthly fee either! Definitely would recommend this smart doorbell if you’re looking to increase the security of your home and ease your mind.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The eufy Cam 3 is amazing. The 4K video is crystal clear and very detailed. I use this camera to keep an eye on my kids and their outside play area. The camera alerts me on my phone when it catches any motion from my kids. A great peace of mind. I absolutely love the fact that the camera does not have to be hard wired for power. It's a huge bonus. The large solar panel on the top of the camera provides good surface area for charging. It has yet to die and I always have adequate battery life. The solar charging makes installation so easy. Without the need to run any power wires, all you have to do is screw in the base and attach the camera. It really only took about five minutes total for me. I am definitely going to add a few more of these solar cameras around my home. With the combination of great video quality, and the ease of installation, the eufy Cam 3 just can't be beat. Highly Recommended.

Clear and easy instruction setup and integration. I really feel like the Eufy doorbell works great. It has great footage and the motion detection is one of the most accurate I have seen for video doorbells.

I got this to replace a security system I will not mention that I have had for that last several years and was paying way to much money for. The quality between the two doorbell videos are day and night. This camera is crystal clear and it actual picks up video of what i need it do, not just a bug flying by but misses somebody running through my yard. Set up was super easy. I really can’t get over how great the quality of the videos are. Great doorbell camera.

As I'm writing this, I'm still extremely happy with the performance and video quality of the doorbell camera! You see, less than 24 hours after I had installed this doorbell, a neighbor had a truck ramming into her house, ending with, well, a "bang". The doorbells ability to capture crystal clear video and amazingly detailed audio caught not only each impact, but every word yelled by the defending individual. This camera not only makes me feel much safer (especially when bundled with the Lorex Fusion NVR, more on that in a moment), but it also helped my neighbor when the police conducted their investigation. Even the officers were impressed with the quality of the camera. Well designed, and elegant to boot! Now, the only flaw with this camera, is that extracting video footage from it can be a bit problematic. The doorbell will not record continuously, as the NVR does. Setting the doorbell up with the NVR was a bit tricky, but once I was able to figure out what device it is on my WiFi network, and use the username "admin" with the password given at setup, it all clicked home. Some direct-from-Lorex documentation would help in this situation greatly. Ease of use, other than that, is excellent. But it needs to be easier to extract the video in Avi or Mp4 formats (both came up as corrupt on multiple attempts). Even using the miniplayer to convert it through screen record didn't help. I had to supply the video in native Dav format with the player. My guess, is that audio confuses the transcoding a bit? Otherwise, 10/5 stars! Great product! Thank you Lorex!!
