This windscreen seems big when you first get it but it fits snugly over the microphone. I use these on my Shure PG58 wireless handheld and SM58 microphones. I have these in different colors so I can easily identify which microphone I'm adjusting through the mixer. There is no loss of audio with the windscreen in place.

Fits the EV RE50 workhorse handheld mic used by most all News Crews. Its a tight fit on the mic. So tight you might tear the windscreen if your not careful. It looks smart and adds to the mics built in windscreen properties. I only take it off when it rains because it really soaks up the water when you get it wet. I have two of these and with heavy use in the field I started to see chunks of foam missing after 4 months of use. I am trying to get thru the year without buying two more. I just have the reporter rotate the mic to the pretty side that doesn't have any foam missing for any liveshots. Functionally, this windscreen cuts out the wind very well and background noise as well. I go thru the cheap windscreens like gum...they are junk.

I use this windscreen with an EV RE-16 microphone (it's an exact fit). It is very effective--with this windscreen, the RE-16 is almost immune to P-pops, even when used an inch from the mouth, but high frequency response is affected very little.

I have an old original EV PL 76A electret condenser microphone. It is still one of the best sounding, small diaphragm, condenser microphones from the early 70's. Originally it had an internal foam pop filter built into the inside of the protective grille cover over the diaphragm element. Over the years this foam filter dried out and fell apart. I use this microphone quite a bit for voiceover work and I needed to replace the foam. I looked everywhere for a replacement. I finally checked B&H for generic pop filters. I was surprised to see that B&H actually had the large over the outside grey pop filter made by EV as an accessory for this microphone. I bought it immediately. It fits perfectly, looks great, the price was right and does exactly what a wind screen/pop filter is supposed to do. Thanks B&H for always having what I need.
