This light is compact, very bright, and uses common AAA batteries instead of the more costly lithium ion rechargables. Overall a great little light for use around my shop. The only thing I don't know yet is how long the LED will last. However as a guide, I have had a 4 DCell LED Maglight for around five years and it's still going stong. 5 |

I had origianlly been using 8 AAA bateries and they ran down quickly. This Lithium battery is definitely a upgrade to a handful of AAA batteries. 5 |

I have owned Eveready, and Duracell rechargeable batteries. Many of them have, after only a few years, failed to hold a charge. That has never happened with Eneloops. I use their charger as well. 5 |

The AAA lithium battery is often over looked ... I keep several spares due to it's 10 year shelf life for NOAA weather-all hazards radio and my kestrel hand-held weather station 5 |
