Excellent Studio Quality Recording Mic

Excellent mic for home recording. Professional quality.

Using this mic for home studio recording and it does everything i expected it too!

I wanted to set up a home recording studio for voice work and audiobook recording. I had heard that USB microphones were low quality, so I was looking at others, but then someone I trusted (with experience in audiobook production) told me the AT2020USB was absolutely THE best mic I could buy. After searching online, I found that B&H had it for $$less than anybody else!! When my mic arrived, I opened it and plugged it into my computer and VOILA! I was in business. It was so easy, and the quality is EXCELLENT. I am thrilled with the AT2020USB and recommend it to anybody who wants to get high quality without spending a bundle.

Studio quality recording for $ . I am no professional by any means, and the sound quality that I am able to pull out of this mic is remarkable. It sometimes sounds better than professional recordings I listen to in my favorite songs (I use this for acoustic guitar recording).

We use this mic for studio recording doing product reviews for our company. The sound quality is so rich and amazing I no longer need to use eq filters when editing the video/sound. It is also easily concealed in my shirt button loop and I no longer need a clip or tape. 100% worth the money and we would recommend this to everyone!

I use this mic for recording home studio vocals. In the past I've recorded in some high end studios and whereas this isn't a top of the line mic even a few years ago you'd have had to pay over $1k for a mic of this quality. Does a great job, good responses to correct vocal technique. Clean signal quality into your recorder is crucial to getting a good recording and this mic with a quality cable is clean.

I have a $2,100 Neumann TLM 67 mic, at my Recording Studio, but I needed a decent studio condenser mic that would allow me to produced all my projects, (with Vocals), at my home studio, with no extra pre-amps or XLR cabling. This mic blew me away! The C01U is an EXCELLENT purchase.

Can't say enough of this mic. It is perfect. Excellent recording quality, channels available (up to 4). Very compact with the convenient feature of SD Card. Can connect to an external mic and it serves as a recorder. The output is perfect to monitor recording with headphones. All controls of gain, input, metadata, recording format are there. Playback function to hear all recordings without the need of connecting or exporting the recordings to the computer. I have recorded voice overs in my own apartment with the mic on XY setting and it isolates much of the surrounding noises. It is perfect!
