I purchased this outlet to control 2 lamps at my entry. This replaced a Tp-link outlet plug. Easy to install once I figured it out. My old outlet had 2 black wires, 2 white wires, and 1 ground wire. I had to combine the wires, of the same color of course, together. I then connected them with the provided connectors. They have to be straightened out completely in order to work properly. This was my issue. Once I corrected that, it was working flawlessly. Setup was as simple as it gets. This is another great addition to my smart home in the making. 5 |
