External Flash For Camera

very impressed with this flash, my first try at an external flash and it was so self explanatory and very easy to use. The flash dialed right into my camera.

This is my second unbrella bracket. The external flash and unbrella is easy to install. Great for off camera flash!!

Works great in external flash!

I mainly purchased this to move my external flash unit from the top of the camera. My flash does not have the ability to swivel (just tilts up and down), so with this bracket I can offset the flash unit and reduce/eliminate red eye on close portraits.

I use the light stand when I want my external flash off my camera allowing me to position the flash higher then the camera. Or the stand/flash can stand a couple feet to the left or right of the camera. A sandbag is highly recommended to secure the stand. I am aware that the light stand that I have is inexpensive and not very sturdy. For now I don't expect to do a lot of off camera flash photography so this stand will work for me. There are plenty of sturdy and expensive stands in the market so depending on what you want spend wisely.

I've never liked the specular highlights and contrasty results of on-camera flash so I've always used external strobes with various diffusion -- that is until now. This simple solution fits my Canon 90D perfectly and delivers just the lighting I like when I'm on informal shoots. I do find I have to increase the ISO just a bit or allow an extra third of a stop for proper exposure, but that's an easy accommodation to avoid having to lug around extra kit. This semi-translucent panel appears to be well made and stores flat. In my initial use it's been great and I can easily recommend this clever item!

I use this for self-portraits as well as triggering my flash and strobes. It's very small and when mounted on my camera, it's presence hardly visible. It mounts quickly ans very easily on my camera and external flash. It is very quick to set-up and it's light weight and small size keeps it out of the way. It does not seem to add bulk to my camera or my external flash unit - it's just a nice and easy to access and use device. In many cases, I grab this low profile device instead of more sophisticated devices I normally use.

I cannot get over how well this camera shoots in low lighting. I have never been a fan of how unnatural flash photography looks (even with an external flash), but with this camera, I 'll never need to use it. Even with limited light sources, this camera still takes shots as clear as day. My only gripe is that in low lighting situations the telephoto lens has a slightly harder time with autofocus. This is easily compensated though by manually focusing first to guide it and then pressing the shutter button again to refocus. If you're like me and prefer to do things manually to give you greater control, this won't be an issue at all. This camera has proven a great tool for anything from portraits to night sky photography or even slow motion video. This camera can do it all.

This attaches to your pop up flash on your camera and adds warmth to the shot. Easy to use and not as bulky as my external flash and attachments.

I use my X100V to photograph everything and so the camera is always with me ready for any occasion. I am really a ZOOM shooter, but I have learned to appreciate what I have with me because the Fujicolor X100V is a quality camera and an extremely capable camera when you adjust your framing on foot. I use this camera with and without a tripod and with and without an external flash. I have learned using all aspects of shooting modes with (white) index on ISO, etc. My sample shot is using a tripod and external flash plus 10 second delay.
