The 2018 Mac Mini I purchased is working great. I chose the 3.2Ghz i7 6 core, 8GB 256GB Gigibit Ethernet model. I replaced the 8GB of RAM with 32GB. The system is very fast, in some cases so fast you don’t realize the function has been done. The downside is the GPU which is weak BUT that can be improved with an external GPU via one of the 4 Thunderbolt 3 ports. There are only 2 USB 3 ports which can be added to by means of external hubs . If you want a simple setup that can be accomplished or a more complex one, it depends on what you want. That’s the beauty of the Mac Mini. You can spend as much or as little as you want. My configuration was a modest $1249.00 to which I added the Apple external Optical drive. Even adding a monitor still added a small cost but much less than a new iMac. If you have the monitor, keyboard and mouse then the cost can be quite low or expensive depending how you configure the system. All in all a great performing and great looking system. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung 980 PRO 500GB Internal Gaming SSD is worth your hard-earned money if you want faster load times. This Solid State drive is fast and no SATA cables are required. The price of the 980 Pro, is a solid choice for gaming and even external storage. I planned to install the drive in one of my laptops but neither had the slots for this type of internal drive. The 980 Pro performs well in an external enclosure as well. I currently use it as extended storage for my laptops. However, I plan to buy a converter for my laptop to replace my old drive with it. 5 |

I purchased the dock a couple of months ago, and it has worked great with my laptops. I was looking for an external 10Gb adapter, so having that capability built in to the dock made it an exceptional value. Both card readers work without issue, and the CFexpress speed is very impressive. The dock has provided an improved workflow between my Fujifilm X-H2S and the laptops I use for photo editing. 5 |
