I just added the WD 4TB Elements External Desktop Hard Disk Drive to my� back up solution (6 hard drives) and Windows 10.� I disconnected the power and USB cable from a full WD hard drive and replaced it with this new drive and fired it up. It works great, just like I would expect from Western Digital. 5 |

As a working photographer, I keep all my photos on two external hard drives. One my working drive and the other as a back up kept at home. I need a rugged external hard drive because I work on files in two locations and LaCie is the best! 5 |

About a year ago, my G-Technology external hard drive stopped working as my time machine backup for my MacBook Pro. I tried all kinds of stuff. Searched the Internet endlessly and boy, there are a lot of people with the same issue. I was debating whether to buy a new drive, but thought I'd try a new cable first. It's expensive, but if it works, it's worth it, and if it doesn't, I'll return it. I'm so glad I gave it a try. I followed the steps in the instructions for hook up and power and it immediately began backing up my machine! I now have three backups from today alone. Thank you StarTech! 5 |
