Easy to use. Attached to PC running Windows 10 and was quickly detected and added to file system. Been adding 1800+ DVD/Blu-Ray movie collection to the drive and data transfer speed has been quite good. Have only had for a couple of weeks so can't say much about the longevity of the unit. I just added the WD 4TB Elements External Desktop Hard Disk Drive to my� back up solution (6 hard drives) and Windows 10.� I disconnected the power and USB cable from a full WD hard drive and replaced it with this new drive and fired it up. It works great, just like I would expect from Western Digital. 5 |

My laptops hard drive died after several years of use, and I replaced it with the exact same drive, I could not get Windows 10 reloaded, something wrong with the image disk I made when the computer was new, so i just downloaded Ubuntu and burned a install DVD disk, and it fired right up and has been working like a Champ. 5 |
