I just added the WD 4TB Elements External Desktop Hard Disk Drive to my� back up solution (6 hard drives) and Windows 10.� I disconnected the power and USB cable from a full WD hard drive and replaced it with this new drive and fired it up. It works great, just like I would expect from Western Digital. 5 |

I was reluctant at first to buy this product. First thing, my computer has no internal hard disk drive . Second, I am not so familiar with an online set up. Given this condition, I was afraid I might not be able to set up the printer online. I took the risk of doing it myself. The attempt paid off. IIt was a breeze . I found it impossible to understand the external hard drive descriptions and specs on vendor websites and Amazon, and everything was pushing toward SSDs, which I already own, but I wanted this kind in addition, so I did what I usually do: contacted the pros at B&H and they helped me pick this model. It's Mac-ready, so no need to fiddle; just plug it in and connect to the laptop and open Time-Machine and that's it! So far, I'm a very happy customer. 5 |
