External Microphone For Mac Mini

Connects my Mac Mini headphone out to external speakers.

I bought two of these cables to add two additional monitors to a Mac Mini M2 Pro. They work great when plugged into the USB-C/TB4 ports. The main monitor is still fed from the built-in HDMI port. The Mac Mini M2 will support one external monitor and the M2 Pro version will support two external monitors. The only problem I have, from time to time, is that I have to reset the display arrangement after reboot or sleep. I don't think this has anything to do with the cable, but seems to be a feature of Mac display management or the order in which the connected monitors sleep and wake up. I've also used the same cable to connect an external monitor to an iPad Pro, for which it also works perfectly.

We have a handful off external drives. This is the easiest one I have setup on my Mac mini. It is a great value for the size and price. it works fine and shipping was free and fast.

I use this as an external (vary large) iTunes library with a mac mini (my own media server). Works great, and an addition to my large family of G Tech drives

I installed this 4TB NVMe in an external enclosure, Mac Mini works very well with this Crucial NVMe

This is my third Mac mini computer of all time using Mac OS. There is more than enough power for my needs. Connected an external disk and the entire media library is stored there. Put 32GB of RAM.

I bought this during the purchase of a new Mac Mini M1 to help with the limited number of external ports on that device. Having the device has not only helped expand the number of options that I have, but the design has meant that 90% of the day to day connections have been on the front, where they are easy to access. The unit installed easily...just plug and play. Would buy again.

I bought this little Mac mini to replace my 2011 iMac, what a great purchase! I was able to make the switch to external storage pretty quickly as I picked of the 128 ssd model. I need to work on cable management for sure with the hub that I am running to the Mac mini but it will all come together in time. Dedicated graphics are not an issue at this point but I do plan to pick up an egpu case and Vega card in the near future.

My desktop system is a MAC Mini and 27 monitor. With external CD, tiny 1TB drive, Card reader, printer, and backup drive, I ran out of ports. 4 of those could use USB3, so this came in very handy and an inexpensive solution.

The 2018 Mac Mini I purchased is working great. I chose the 3.2Ghz i7 6 core, 8GB 256GB Gigibit Ethernet model. I replaced the 8GB of RAM with 32GB. The system is very fast, in some cases so fast you don’t realize the function has been done. The downside is the GPU which is weak BUT that can be improved with an external GPU via one of the 4 Thunderbolt 3 ports. There are only 2 USB 3 ports which can be added to by means of external hubs . If you want a simple setup that can be accomplished or a more complex one, it depends on what you want. That’s the beauty of the Mac Mini. You can spend as much or as little as you want. My configuration was a modest $1249.00 to which I added the Apple external Optical drive. Even adding a monitor still added a small cost but much less than a new iMac. If you have the monitor, keyboard and mouse then the cost can be quite low or expensive depending how you configure the system. All in all a great performing and great looking system.
