External Video Camera For Outside Home

I'm backing up my PC external HD with this portable HD. I purchased it to also show my home video and pictures on my smart TV. Great unit!

Works as advertised. Outside cuts wind and other noise to a minimum. Using this in tandem with the Video Mic Pro control system has improved my outdoor recordings very much. Be sure to practice adjusting the mic controls on the fly. You will like the results.

Outside of the price, I love it. I love the fact I know the camera is protected and I love that it locks in place.

Outside and inside- like to immerse myself in music and Sonos allows me to do that!

This is a great camera for a small, independent low budget independent filmmaker such as me.  This is a great camera to learn how to shoot a cinema camera. The people coming from a video camera background may not like it as it lacks all the consumer creature comforts. But cinema cameras dont have such features. Expect large files, to shoot manual exposure, focus, no image stabilization, and post production color grading is needed .. then you will get amazing looking images. The new BRaw codec is great. I will still stick to my video camera for the family events, and will use this for the higher quality gigs where I want to finess every element of the shot. You will need to invest in an external power system, external SSD or expensive Cfast cards, and a cage and a few pieces of hardware to make this a useable unit. But such is the nature of cinema cameras. The build is decent. The buttons feel could be a little bit more robust.. but they work. I am actually pleased that the body is very light weight, because adding a cage and hardware to it then gives the whole kit just the right mass and stability.

The 6 in very nicely made. I did put my race Swiss on it because my camera moved some. Outside that, I love how stable it is after you tighten every thing down. This is a good buy and a person would Would buy the 6, they will be happy with it.. J. Payne

I was looking for a solution for keeping cables neatly confined when connecting a professional video camera to an external monitor. HDMI cables are generally very inflexible, so the advent of a rotatable plug solved the issue.

I'm using this arm for an external monitor for a video camera. Was not disappointed from the second I opened it. It provides strong support for any position it is locked. So no matter where the camera is set-up, there is a position that can be locked for proper viewing of the external monitor. I highly recommend this friction arm.

I just love it. I am a musician and I got this camera to film my performances. (video = 10, Audio = 10 ) What I liked the most is that you are able to use an external mic and to set your own input level. I was about to get the Sony HDR XR150, but I found this camera much better, by far: is it better build, more features. The only cons is going to be the low light filming, but I do not use it so often. I also got the 32gb SD card class 10. With that I record on SP (standard play which is still amaizing quality) about 9 hours of video. I love it.

My first 360 camera. I purchased it based on a lot of research.  So far I am glad I got it.  The phone software is the main editing software as the desktop app has few features.  Most video can look good as long as you dont exceed the dynamic range of the camera.  A few tweaks to the video in post production usually can produce video that looks good on the TV.  There are many neat features and effects with this camera.  The external battery charger and extra batteries was one of the options that lead me to this camera.  My other choice for camera you could only charge the battery in the camera and it took 4+ hrs.  The 360 one X also can run off of an external power pack but the pack can show in videos if your not careful how you place it.  The still (photo) pictures seem much better quality than any other 360 camera and this was one of the features that also lead me to buy this camera.
