External Video Card Adapter

With this adapter, I can connect a powered USB hub to my tablet. This allows me to use my card reader and external HD with my tablet to back up photos while traveling.

With Macbooks and iMacs going mostly to USB-C inputs, this A to C adapter is a must-have. Many external hard drives and card readers are USB-C only now as well, but I still own products that are USB-A, and a brand-new Western Digital external hard drive today is USB-A, so to hook it up to a MacBook, you have got to have the adapter or replace the cable. I keep this C to A adapter in my laptop bag always.

Great little external video card. Only issue that may occur to some users is that you would need to make sure that the DVI cable end is not too wide. When in stalling 3 screens, the DVI ends May be to large to fit side by side being directly plugged into the box.

If you're running a Z4 G4 with a high end video card - or an external RAID card, this fan will definitely lower the case temp by a bit. I have a pair of NvMe drives in my Z4, attached to the motherboard slots. This made the fan installation a bit dicey - it looked like it wouldn't fit. But that turned out to be untrue. If you lay the fan flat on the side that will face the interior of the computer, you can easily just raise it up into position. If you watch the HP video on (allegedly) how to do this, IMHO you will not succeed.

Overall, I'm glad I didn't go for the higher-priced brands. This Lexar MicroSD card works perfectly in my dash cam, and I would definitely buy it again.

I bought a PNY Quadro P2000 video card from B&H for doing CAD and video editing. I bought a 4K adapter from amazon and all it did was flicker on and off. Totally worthless. I called B&H and 2 salesmen helped me find this adapter. It works perfectly with my 43 LG 4k HDR TV monitor. I really appreciate B&Hs help on this. They are great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This came with a USB adapter which is nice, I am using this for my DJI Drone, admittedly, this is not 4K drone and doesn't require fast memory card, I have had zero issues with the memory card itself. I also tried this out on a GoPRO 10 Black and shot some high speed, 4K video, when I played back, I got crisp video and clear audio, so I am pretty happy with the performance of this memory card thus far. I live in MN, and will have to try this out in extreme weather (read 50 below zero) to see how this thing holds up. Other that that, so far so good!

Card is fast enough to record video, uploads quickly, microSD adapter works perfectly. Good card at a fair price. (Never had a Transcend fail on me yet.)

This works fine. I am running 2 screens off of one video card; you will need an extension for some cards as this adapter did not fit next to the regular DVI connector on my card.
