Extra Wide Computer Screen

This monitor is terrific and gives me extra screen space for my office computer so I do not have to use multiple monitors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Instead of getting two separate monitors I decided to get this extra wide screen from LG. I am very happy with my decision. Picture quality is excellent. I love the extra wide screen which allows me to work on two Excel Worksheets at a time. Watching movies and gaming is incredible on the monitor. The stand that supports the monitor is good and the screen fits perfectly on my desk. The only drawback is it does not have a USB outlet. I had to purchase a separate 4 port USB hub so I had connections for my keyboard, mouse and other miscellaneous.

Works well with my 34" LG extra wide screen. was a bit a pain to install given the weight of everything (and it took a while to get all the tension screws right). Don't give up on it. it works :) . I found it best to tighten the screws before mounting the screen. The LG screens do not always come with the right adapter.

My new computer has one HDMI and one DisplayPort output and I have two monitors I want to use.� This DisplayPort cable lets me use the second monitor now.� The 3' length is more than enough without having extra coiled up. My screen is 2056x1080.� Since this cable is 4K rated, it works great for my extra wide but not 4K large screen.

I went for the non-glare screen, and don't regret the extra cost. It is easy on the eyes and produces striking image quality. I use this computer for photography processing, and it is a joy to see everything enlarged at high resolution. It's a real workhorse. It would be nice if Apple made this expensive computer up and down adjustable. Works fine for me, but if you desk isn't the right height, there's not a lot you can do.

Needed a protective case to carry an extra computer monitor screen so that I wouldn't accidentally shatter my screen again. This works perfectly! I highly recommend it!

I actually bought this at a bed & bath store with a coupon. I really like it. It is sturdy and very well made. The screen is a good size, very visible and produces a reasonably good picture. It is also very easy to use. I haven't tried to edit any of the pictures yet, but most of these products use the same software--ArcSoft PhotoImpressions 6. My only complaint, and it seems to be the same with most of these converter products; and I have had others, is that the power cord/USB cable is fairly short making it difficult to go any distance away from a flat surface. My only disappointment, and it's not the fault of the manufacturer or the product is that I wanted a converter where I can view the pictures right on my computer screen as I slide them through. I thought this one would do that, but it requires an extra step. It will hold up to 32 MB in it's internal memory, but once that is full, you will need to either copy the pictures onto your hard drive or from the converter onto a SD card and then into your computer. Thus, the extra step. But if that isn't a problem for you, then it's well worth purchasing. I do like it and think it's a great product for the money and does what it is intended to do.
