Facetime Microphone Not Working Ipad Mini

I bought this to permit me to both use my 11 iPad Pro as a reader and camera. Great for FaceTime and Zoom and for mounting to use my iPad as a second or third camera on-set!

I purchased this M2 chip iPad Pro for my cousins to use for FaceTime sessions. They had an ancient iPad that was no longer being supported with software updates and had limited memory. Former FaceTime chats gave me very poor quality video of them, they had no video of me and there were frequent screen freezes and loss of audio. This new latest and greatest M2 Chip iPad Pro has crystal clear focused video of them with its new multi camera technology and they have video of me! Audio is perfect and no screen freezes or loss of connection happens. The Express shipping from B&H got it to them in 2 days. They opened the box, charged it up and we had an awesome visit. They now have a great tool to stay connected with other family members, too.

I am teaching music. I hook iPad to 40inch TV with this adapter to enlarge Facetime screen. I can easily see students fingers. You may need to swipe iPad screen to unlock first, otherwise charging will not start even though the adapter is connected to USB charger.

I called B&H immediately when my Apple iPad Air arrived. It came just in time before Christmas. Two days before Christmas I told our granddaughter that we will not be able to Facetime with you because the iPad that I ordered would not arrived till after Christmas. Our granddaughter ws so disappointed. On Christmas day and wife and I were able to Facetime with our granddaughter. She was so overjoyed to see us that see started crying. You guys came through for us and we will never forget that you did for us. We are so appreciative.

I love this microphone! I moved and some of my music students wanted to continue with my remotely, so we use Skype and FaceTime. I use this mic instead of the computer built-in one, and my students report crystal clear sound. AND it's a plug and play...couldn't have been easier. Very happy!

I use this mini tripod for my iPhone in my desk. It is extrenely useful for straightup reading the text messages and for facetime.

I attach a power brick and you are good to go. The mini tripod it comes with is well built and easy to use. It holds my Iphone 11 without any issue. It comes with an 8 inch ring light that has a 10 step brightness adjustment and has 3 different color temperatures to choose from which is great. You control everything through the attached mini remote. The arm that comes with it is sturdy and flexible. There is also a 1/4 mount on the side of the phone holder in case you want to hookup a lightweight mic or other accessory. I'm very pleased with this kit. I am not one that upgrades or changes my equipment often. I like to use things until they break so I have been using an iPad mini for the last 10 years. Still working but getting more and more limited on what it can do since it no longer updates. Compared to that this iPad Pro is of course amazing. The description about how fast it is and how great the screen is are accurate. Going from a mini to a 12.9 is an adjustment but working out great so far. I don't expect to have any issues with traveling with it either when that time comes. This should fit in my camera bag just fine. Have only had it a couple weeks but one thing I have tried is Lightroom and that seems to work really well for my needs which are simple light and color adjustments for now. Working on improving my editing skills and this iPad has the capabilities I need to expand my knowledge.

This is my third iPad. My 3rd generation iPad Mini is a digital clock and my 5th generation iPad Mini is still working well. Of course, I would recommend any iPad. They are fast, secure, and beautiful. My B&H order was easy to place and the item was shipped immediately. It arrived a day earlier than I expected. Thank you!

It was easy to set up, and I'm very pleased with the size. I was replacing a very old ipad mini, was still working although slow, unable to update any further. Definitely recommend this one!
