I have personally used the mic over the guitar amp and also to mic saxophones.

I have dozens of these. No photos have faded. They don’t collapse.

I bought 3 of these but this one is the best colour of them all. The green is a faded colour and doesn't really stand out. This one was perfect.

The grain is fine, its a bit soft and has a really nice old style faded look, really cool!

I like having different colored cables from the common black that everyone else has.

It colored when it was supposed to. It works great.

The NINA Narrow Instrument Neck Adjustment thingey worked great for my tenor guitar but the mandolin still was not snug enough so I ordered a second set and wrapped them around the first and it fits great now.

I play tenor sax and wished I saw a review like this. The harmony portion is based on singer and key of c instruments. Just add two flats to music for Bb instruments in my case and diel in new key for all harmony presets including harmony pedal and it will be spot on. People love the effects it produces. I still have to do my part.

A friend was looking for a mic to use on his tenor sax, so we spent an afternoon trying out a bunch of mics I had around the studio. Surprisingly the 545SD made it all the way through to the final round (along with a few mics youd probably expect). Id say the 545SD in my experience is a bit brighter than the SM-57. Whereas the SM-57 can sometimes sound a bit tubby or honky on some instruments, the 545SDs tone works well when a slightly bright, clean tone is desired.

Very well built. Very stable and adjustable for different sizes of alto and tenor saxophone. Also adjust the height.
