Fan And Temp Monitor For Alienware

Very easy to use and monitor the temp. Can adjust from anywhere with WiFi.

Don't Buy any other fan. This one is awesome. Decreased my rack temp by 10' and my equipment temp by 5+'. Great read outs and monitoring. My racks are loud so the noise of these fans are non existent. But them.

Upgraded to 2TB SSD in my '09 iMac, but without a temp sensor, the fan was running full blast all the time. It only took me 10 minutes to crack it open and slip this cable on - now the Mac is quiet as a mouse, which is an unexpected benefit of moving to an SSD. B&H had a great price and was prompt and efficient in shipping - I couldn't be happier with this purchase...

Pros: Great support. Excellent app. Cannot only choose between auto or run for the fan, but also choose the mininimum min/hr the fan runs on auto. Can choose to have the heat turned back at night and restored to a certain temp by a certain time in the morning. The tstat does the rest. The tstat allows the temp to vary by 0.5 deg C and cycles the heat as required. Can install the app on multiple devices, such as android phone, pc, and Apple ipad, and monitor and/or control the system remotely from either device. Cons: Needs C wire. I had to run a new cable. The tstat run stats are at least an hour old when the app accesses them.

Unit was easy to setup and adjusting the programming is simple. Fan works very well to control temp and humidity. Very quiet operation for size, even higher fan settings are not as loud as expected. Great value for the price.

I was thinking of getting myself an Ultra wide gaming monitor but always thought the 49" G9 was too big that's when Samsung released this with the same panel as in the Alienware OLED monitor that is getting rave reviews. The difference between this and the Alienware monitor is that this one comes with Samsung OS and is easy to connect to my other Samsung ecosystem products. This monitor is perfect to run Dex on or even can be used as a TV. The OLED panel is brilliant and the movies and games pop on it.

This arm is amazing! I purchased two different ones before this to support my new Alienware OLED monitor. Those arms could not support the weight even on the highest tension. This arm at half tension easily supports the weight. You can tell this one is made with a higher quality than any off brand product.

Comparing this to the Alienware AW3225QF (which I tested for 3 weeks before getting this monitor), I find the colors are effectively the same after you find the right settings that appeal to you. I initially had some text clarity issues, but this was solved by running the monitor at 240Hz. For whatever reason, a bunch of features are turned off by default, so you need to turn them on (e.g. OLEDcare, VRR, CEC). Another thing to keep in mind - when you switch to full-screen and back, the monitor will black out for a few seconds. This is normal and a function of Nvidia drivers, not the monitor. Another caveat, as this is OLED, you cannot calibrate this with standard monitor calibration gear (think SpyderX). After turning everything on and playing with all the presets, I was able to find the ones I liked for different media. The monitor is amazing. Great color, perfect blacks, I almost think it's blacker than my black monitor bezels... 240Hz is buttery.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 34” G5 Odyssey Gaming Monitor replaced my Alienware 29 inch monitor, and I'm so glad that I did. The 34" G5 Odyssey has Deeper blacks and crisper picture than my old Alienware 25 gaming monitor. My games have never looked so good as on the 34"G5.

Absolutely stunning monitor, coming from an Alienware ultra wide 3440 to 4k QD-Oled. What a difference
