Fans And Portable Air Conditioners

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been a lifesaver especially during the summer when everyone is blasting their fans and air conditioners and risking outages. I’ve had my power go out multiple times in a span of a week and I had enough time to save everything I needed to. The size also helps as my small apartment is already pretty cramped. 5 |

I often record in my apartment or at the studio where I work - there is a ton of background noise like traffic, air conditioners, and creaky floors. The high pass filter for perfect for filtering those consistent background hums. Of course, a little fancy editing too. Arrived right in the delivery window, customer service from B&H is great as always. 5 |

I have been using Furman power conditioners for many years, mainly to provide a portable power strip with reasonably clean power. Providing adjustable light to rack components in often dim stage conditions is more than welcome too. I use the Furman with short ANSI power cables (12") to minimize the clutter in the backside of the rack. At 12" in depth, the backside of the Furman is short enough to clear the rear cover, yet long enough to reach without skinning my knuckles. Kudos! Furman. How about a 1-space Furman UPS? 5 |

Roomy, Enough air for my gigabyte gGPU3090 extreme, Gigabyte Aorus extreme MB and my 1200 watt PSU which is hidden behind MB in separate space. I replaced corsair carbide spec-delta with it due lack of room to may components. This case did not have fans so i moved fans from corsair case and all fit perfect. RGB is great ( i'm not a fan of RGB generally). 5 |

I use this not only on my camera gear but also a watercooled personal computer. The latter has radiators cooled by fans that suck in air from the outside. Despite the best filters, the fans and radiators- let alone the insides of the computer case- get dusty and hamper performance. I tried out compressed air cans but not only are they extremely ineffective (low pressure, get cold quickly reducing continuous run time), they are also quite nasty to the environment. This on the other hand does the job in a few seconds! 5 |

Ever since top vents started coming into vogue, I've longed for a case like this to make an appearance, and it's everything I wanted. The key differentiator of this case compared to most other, modern cases is that it has no vents on the top. For air cooling, this is ideal because you want air to go through the CPU cooler and out the back, not go out the top and skip the cooler entirely or come in from the top and screw up the flow direction. There is a slope in front of the top-mounted PSU that forces the incoming air from the empty space at the top of the front fans down into the CPU cooler. Then the GPU area is fed by additional fans on the bottom to ensure there's plenty of fresh air. This amount of airflow allows you to run the fans at pretty low speeds, being almost silent at 60% in the front and 40% on the bottom, while not significantly reducing the cooling potential. There are mesh filters in front of both sets of fans, keeping the interior a lot cleaner than it would be without them. The panels pop off nicely with some sort of magnetic or tension mounting. Overall, the design of the toolless access and working inside this case feels like an improvement over the Meshify C case I had before. Of course, there is one compromise. If you want non-nvme drives, it only has room for a couple on the rear of the motherboard panel, and there's not much airflow in that area, so I'd hesitate to use a spinning platter hard drive. At this point, I only use nvme drives and a separate NAS for storing media, so that's no problem for me. 5 |

My MSI Gaming X Trio 3080 ti was at about 80c stock under load in my Corsair 5000D(5 120mm fans plus a 360mm AIO with 3 fans). In the Dynamic it runs 10c cooler since air is being pulled from the bottom of the case past the GPU. It is just a better design for high end air cooled 30 series GPUs. 5 |

I grabbed this case to do a new build. I had a Fractal Define C with my previous computer but air flow was restricted and I planned on air cooling my new 5800x instead of water cooling like my old one. Building in this case was very easy, I used the stock case fans for exhaust and put in Noctua fans for the intake. I plan on eventually getting the hot swap plate for the back of the bottom drive bays when the time comes that I need more storage. Great case overall. 5 |

I am not using these fans for cooling my computer, but for moving warm air around my camper. They are quiet and able to move warm air from the main section of my camper to the bedroom. They also draw only an amp or so and thus preserve the battery. 6 year warranty and well made. Highly recommended. 5 |
