Fast 16Gb Usb Flash Drive

Great deal, super fast and reliable USB flash drive!

Bought this after asking B&H staff what the cheapest 16gb USB drive was and boy did it pay.. It's perfectly acceptable for like $ or w/e

Update can be done without old CPU with USB flash drive only.

After I purchased this 16GB USB drive, I have been formatting it with Windows XP's Format, and HP's Flash Storage Tools, so far, no issues. I like the retractable USB plug design, but, on the other hand, worried about the durability of this kind of design. I have had my older Kingston DataTraveler 8GB USB drive with similar retractable design for more than a year, though, a bit loosen, still works.

We are using a flash drive to store and playback videos on a portable projector. I tried with a USB 3.0 Flash Drive, thinking the newer version was better. But the projector had a different idea. I learned from the professionals at B+H that this unit requires an older USB 2.0 Flash Drive. I never would have thought of that but sure enough, when I used this Verbatim 64G Ergo USB 2.0, the projector recognized the videos and played them flawlessly.

This 64GB Flash Drive is really FAST ! The Ultra USB 3.0 was a great choice. The Ultra USB 3.0 is so much faster then the older USB 2.0.....

This Flash drive is all you need. it's fast, small compact, USB 3.0 ready. everything I was expecting! delivery was fast!

I purchased this for my wife so that she could carry her large iPhoto library between her two computers. When it arrived, I copied her photo library to the drive. I thought an error had occurred when it finished becaused it finished so fast. Then I tested the flash drive. With larger files, I was seeing read speeds of 25-28MB/s (that's BYTES) per second and write speeds of 15-20MB/s. I currently own about 8 different USB 2.0 flash drives in sizes from 8GB to 64GB. None are even close to this fast. Hope it lasts because it's a great flash drive. It would also make a decent bootable backup drive or emergency drive. The only drawback is the slider piece of plastic that slides over the USB male connector. First, it doesn't completely cover the connector meaning that lint and fuzz can get inside. The bigger problem is that it's hard to move the slider.

I bought this extremely well-reviewed, highly rated USB flash drive and was not disappointed. It is FAST and FURIOUS. No down time with this little track star!! And 250 MB. It was so popular it was sold out when I wanted it so I got on the wait list One day later, it was back in stock and I grabbed one! Very happy.
