Fast Thumb Drive

i have looked around for the fastest usb thumb drive for quite a while now... this is it, i don't know what bench tests say, but this drive is about twice as fast as your verage usb drive.

This drive is as fast as they get, for USB 3.0 speed. Yes, there are other very fast drives that might edge this one out in a specific category. But unless you are copying (reading or writing) massive amounts of data, and doing it often, I doubt it will be noticeable. To be clear, this drive is very fast. It will likely be #1 in many speed tests. It just might come in a close 2nd place in a specific category. The drive has a solid, well built feel to it. The head slides in and out, and it locks into place when you slide it in either direction. Applying thumb pressure, and then pushing/pulling forwards/backwards, is how you set the head to be out or in. It has a blue activity light. Not too bright. Just right. This is truly an excellent thumb drive (competes with the Kingston HyperX Savage, which is also a very fast drive and would have an almost identical review).

Wow… compared to a regular USB thumb drive, this drive moves FAST! I copied over 200GB is less than 7 minutes. Worth the extra cost.

What can I say. This is a BIG USB 3.0 thumb drive and it works as expected. Deliver was fast and the B&H price was very good.

I have three of these, and I love them! I have one in our Rivian for recording video, one in my backpack as a super-fast thumb drive, and one in a fire-proof lock-box to keep valuable data safe. I tried a cheaper brand once, from Newegg. Big mistake.
