[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This flash drive has incredible speed compared to the other flash drives I have purchased in the past. The speed of this drive is incrediably fast when you are reading and writing data with it. The speed of my phone's data downloads are quite impressive compared to other brands that would have the exact same specs and cost a lot more. I can transfer 4GB of my files in a few seconds (literally will transfer in seconds). I highly recommend purchasing this flash drive if you are looking for a reliable, fast, durable, and compact flash drive for a very reasonable price. This unit is very well built in terms of design, quality and durability and for the price is a no-brainer. Samsung once again you have created another great quality product for a reasonable price. I have started to purchase the majority of my electronic products and devices under the Samsung brand and I will continue to as long as you are producing quality products for a reasonable price in these times when you are not able to find quality electronic products anymore. This Flash Drive is very fast as it of 3.0 speed type and takes advantage of USB 3.0 vs. 2.0. Works with either though. Small in size. I take advantage of this and keep it always plugged into my laptop for additional storage. I use it for holding archives of files I moved off of my SSD drive that I have backed up and then keep them available for immediate reference. I have not had any issues and I use it daily for the last two months.

Fast shipping from B&H. I bought this as my 2TB backup drive for a USB-C enclosure. I get fast transfer upload and download speeds. I will eventually get another one of these and install in the desktop. SSD is the way to go. Until 4tb gets any cheaper this is the best way to go.

I had minimal issues in setup and the process is fairly straightforward. The USB transfer speed is a step down from my older drive, but it was not a network drive and for the price, this is a reasonable compromise. The drives do make an odd moo sound as they spin down, but both behave identically and some internet research led me to accept this is normal behavior for these drives.

This adapter was able to successfully adapt the usb-c external drive to usb-a and still transfer at a very high speed where other adapters did not come anywhere near USB 3.0 speeds I was looking for.

I bought several of this drive to serve as immediate and backup storage of music and movies. The transfer speed of the 3.0 USB capability meets expectations and the speed of the 2.0 compatability exceeds them. The USB hub also serves as the power source, which cuts down on the tangly wire mess. On top of the performance and streamlining benefits, the drive is built to military grade shock specifications, and has thus far proved itself by surviving several bumps and bangs on the subway, not to mention a two-foot drop that rendered a less stalwart drive corrupt. In short, the drive rocks and acts like one too.
