Fastest Gaming Computers In 2018

This has been the easiest , fastest hd swap I have ever done. I have been working with computers since 1966.

I've had good computers for many years, but this is one of the lightest and fastest. I love it and think this a good quality computer and one the best I've had.

Not the fastest puppy in the litter, but I only use it intermittently to put Linux on computers that no longer have the resources to run Windows or Chromebooks where the user no longer wants to be beholden to Google's 'benevolent' oversight. Works fine and has enough space for a complete software repository.

Not the fastest probably and not lifetime warranty (10 years? - it changed). I use these in small computers like Rasbpberry Pis and they work about flawlessly for a year or so. After that they're more reliable if you reformat and put your data back a couple times a year, definitely keep backups after a year.

I have been gaming since I broke my hip in 2018. I find it sometime hard not working, however, gaming is a huge passion of mine. This motherboard is the best I have owned, and I build my own computers to suit my needs. It is amazing to me that the board is capable of using 128 GB of RAM. What an amazing motherboard. This CPU is great for pretty much every use case. It's absolutely the fastest gaming processor on the market, and also quick enough that you can run a few virtual machines on it without causing issues. Those who need to run more than a few VMs at once may want to consider one of the higher end models with more cores, but in general, developers could do far worse than this bad boy. Fair bit of warning though, it runs hot. This is by design according to the engineering team, but it will be warmer than you're used to. The processor will run to the absolute thermal limit to hit its boost clocks. Mine hits 84 C under full load from Prime95 with the best air cooler on the market. Under everyday usage though, it hovers around 50 C, which is quiet enough to not be an issue.

My teenager needed a new computer for school work. He wanted to have a computer for gaming. I have tried other companies (both laptops and desktops) and have always enjoyed my HP computers more than the others. The computer came sooner than expected and was very easy to set up.
