Fastpack 350 Camera Backpack

My first camera bag was the Lowepro Fastpack 350 (discontinued now as far as I know). Don't get me wrong; it was a good backpack, but it was way too big and bulky for what I needed. This backpack is the perfect size for what I currently carry when I take pictures. Obviously, opinions will differ based on what what each photographer/ videographer carries with them, but I would highly suggest this. Many people think they need to carry more than they actually need. I currently carry my Nikon D7200, a 50mm lens, a 35mm lens, a speedlight, and some other small things. I still have enough space to carry a water bottle with me if I wanted to. 5 |

Great backpack by Lowepro, this is my second Fastpack BP, very resistant and this size is a little smaller for mirrorless cameras. great colors and excellent quality 5 |

Great photo backpack, got 250 and 350 (for my wife and myself). Hard to find a backpack that allows to carry two water bottles for longer hikes. 5 |

Gone through a few chunky Lowe bags and most recently the Lowepro Fastpack Pro BP 250 AW III. hated the lack of rubber on the shoulder strap and I was pretty sure I was reaching it's weight limit. This bags strap feels quality and isn't about to rip this year or the next. Fabric feels like it's up for a rugged 10 years of use. It's 2021 and I don't expect any product to last past 3 years and this feels like it will surpass that. I like all the pockets for my iPad, tools, cleaning supplies, fits my 6D with 12-24 sigma, 50mm, 35mm, 24mm and a spare body. This is a great working bag, and I'll probably use my other backpacks for travel since I can fit my computer in them and extra padding around the backpack. For day to day shooting this will definitely be my go to. 5 |

This is my second Fastpack 250. I love my older version, but the changes and upgrades done with this new model are awesome! I can still fit it under the seat on any airline (which is essential for me) with a Sony A7iii with battery grip, AND a Sigma 150-600mm Sports lens. And it still has plenty of room in front compartment for chargers, food, jacket, accessories, etc. Highly recommend! 5 |

I used the Sling as a day bag while traveling to Cambodia and Thailand. I have the larger Fastpack 250 to fit all my gear plus laptop, which I used as a airplane carry-on but packed the Sling in my checked luggage (interior padding comes out and flattens for easy packing). On short day trips when I didn't need all my gear, I carried the Sling with one SLR/attached lens and an extra lens, extra battery plus small personal items. Often I added one of the Fastpack's removable pads to the Sling so I could bring and protect an extra lens that fit in the bag but didn't fit in the Sling's padded compartment. It also fits a water bottle in the outside end pocket. Also I slipped a small travel-size tripod on the strap and walked around temples and cities comfortably all day. Very happy with my decision to bring this bag! 5 |

I used this battery all day and into the evening. I got over 350 shots and video out of it and I was turning the camera of and in constantly and editing a lot. It's a winner. 5 |

This Magnus VT-350 provides a steady platform for our video camera and is a big improvement over our much used and abused 30-year-old tripod. 5 |

This pack was the best alternative we could find to the LowePro Whistler 350, which did not fit my wife (5'2). The Whistler 350 is a great pack for general landscape photography, providing excellent protection for camera gear and room for outdoor extras like outer layers, water, food, etc. but it simply could not be adjusted to fit my wife's smaller size, even though it fits me (5'11) perfectly. The Flipside Trek 350 is not as rugged, protective, or roomy as the Whistler 350 but it carries very well for my wife, is large enough, and it is a significant upgrade from her previous pack. We use Micro Four Thirds and for that format there is room for a body plus several lenses and accessories in the camera compartment, plus space for clothing, food and a tripod strapped on the outside. We have relied on LowePro packs and bags for our adventure photography since the mid-1980's and we own lots of them because they are functional, reliable and they are a good value. We are doing more landscape work and less adventure photography now so our pack needs are changing. This pack strikes a great balance for a smaller person's grab and go landscape pack. 5 |
