I wanted to take better portaits of family and friends, so I purchased this. It is reasonably priced. The color goes well with my kids and their basic outfits. It is a heavy weight paper. No flaws in the color. It arrived in a heavy duty cardboard tube, which will be great for storage. The paper is also rolled on a smaller heavy duty cardboard tube. I created a couple of nice brackets and hung it to the wall using a 10' piece of 3/4 pipe. I can pull it down to use and roll it up to get it out of the way. I made it convenient to use. I am now trying to learn more about lighting. Enjoy. 5 |

At first, I was uncertain if FedEx would ship a Pelican without an outer box. They totally will. I had been shipping medium-sized gear for photo and video shoots in FedEx's large cardboard boxes, and those things were getting destroyed. This was certainly a large investment compared to cardboard, but I feel WAY more secure about shipping expensive gear around the country, knowing it's totally safe. I really should have invested in a large Pelican sooner. Two shipments in, it's already scuffed and dinged, but it is taking the wear really well. In fact, this is leading me to believe I might want to snag one of the smaller ones too as a carry-on. You won't be disappointed. Related, I did invest in a small lock. I'm probably going to get a second lock, since there are two lockable latches. 5 |
