Fedex Thermal Printer Cleaning Card

Despite FedEx's shameful treatment (see photo. Got wet they said. They didn't even bother to open it up for inspection and then re-box it) it arrived undamaged, miraculously. Kudo's to Sandisk's packaging that kept it safe and dry despite the abuse. Just like their individual card readers, this Sandisk dock is very well made. A professional piece of gear. Kind of a splurge item since one could argue that you could use the readers without docking them, but it is convenient to have them all housed in one enclosure, neatly organized. Plus the front mounted USB ports make it more like a hub. Who doesn't need more ports? When archiving to SSD's and pocket drives (or any drives) it's nice to have these forward-facing USB ports instead of reaching around to the back of the computer. The price is more than worth the utility and benefit to my workflow. And if I get a new camera that uses different cards I just can pop in an appropriate reader. So far I have the CFast, CF Express, and multi card modules. Still have room for one more (RED someday?) and all those USB ports. Love it. Whether you do this for a living like me or it's a serious hobby, it makes work more enjoyable when you have nice toys to play with. Well made, nice looking, versatile, organized. Way to go Sandisk!

Needed a short cable to connect thermal printer to computer. Functions well.

I upgraded my old Brother MFC-9970CDW to the new MFC-L8900CDW this weekend. It was being shipped FedEx and was scheduled to be delivered on Monday, but I called FedEx and was able to pick it up on Saturday. I spend about an hour configuring all the options, installing additional paper trays (1 250-sheet and 1 500-sheet), and testing the printer. It's a big improvement over the MFC-9970CDW, which was a workhorse in our home office. The printer is much quieter than my old one and when compared to other brands. There is a quiet setting that makes it even quieter, but this occurs at the sacrifice of some speed. The fax machine is pretty standard for all faxes. I was able to fax without difficulty using the normal compatibility setting via a Cisco adapter that converts analog to IP for RingCentral. I am very impressed with the L8900CDW's ability to customize scan functions. Perhaps this was present on the 9970CDW and I didn't explore it. I have mine configured with icons to scan to my iMac's desktop, scan to my personal email, scan to my wife's email, or send to a fire department where I'm medical director. Also, the Amazon Dash Replinishment service isn't active. This printer isn't listed as a supported model. I emailed Brother USA and was advised it is too new to be listed and will be listed soon. Overall, this is a great printer. One of the best multi-function machines you could buy. I highly recommend it!

Excellent product! I so excited that I finally bought my own printer. I recommend everyone that's been going to FedEx Kinko's and having your friends and family print out papers for you to buy one of these!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I previously owned a different thermal printer model and had issues with the feeder and app. This Brother printer is perfect for my small business needs and fits my 4x6 shipping labels for packaging. It was fairly easy to set up and get started with the online and app features. So far I'm happy with the quality of the print and capabilities to make adjustments in app. I love not having to purchase ink for this thermal printer which saves me time and money!

These print well in my Casio CW-50 Thermal Printer and I don't ever recall having a bad burn with one of them. Although they are rated at 16x, I usually burn at 8x and have never had a problem.

I've never had a recording or playback problem with these DVD+Rs and the white inkjet coating works great with my Casio CW-100 thermal disk printer. Not all inkjet coatings work with the thermal printer but the coating on these DVD+Rs works perfectly.

I love this printer. Right selection of media to choose from and no ink to replenish (Thermal) you can print using the app for your phone or a USB cable to print from your computer. Compact and easy to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This label printer was simple to set up and get started with. I love that it auto-senses the size of the labels when you load them, so you don't have to configure the software for the labels you select. Switching rolls of labels is fairly simple. This is a direct thermal label printer, so the labels do fade over time, especially if exposed to sunlight (compared to the longer-lasting, thermal transfer labels from much more expensive printers). The labels look fresh and crisp when newly printed and are great for printing postage or shipping labels. The compact size means it's always ready to go without taking up much desk space. Great value and a quality product!

I've been using these discs for several years for my Teac P-55 thermal printer. We've had virtually no issues with them. The lack of spindle is kind of a pain but not a deal breaker. They have a low error rate and look great when printed on with the correct printer.
