Hi! I just both cd 60 along with stereo 70s. Nice match for both design and quality sound. But still I have a question that I am trying to answear mysel... is DAC in cd 60 better then what stereo 70s has in it? What DAC should I use between those two for best sound. What model are they... these info is nowhere to be found. Should I use rca or optical? If optical then I belive I use stereo 70s (amp dac) 5 |

It’s now 20 days since getting the Marantz CD 60 with about 70 hours of running in. I think it’s getting to its full potential soon. The soundstage is very wide, instruments precisely placed and you can almost feel where the musicians are performing. It extracts the tiniest bit of information and relays them faithfully. When playing DSD files I was totally amazed. The music rivaled and bested my SACDs! Marantz knows it’s music and thus machine had been tuned to perfection. Christmas came early this year. 5 |
