We use the Apple TV 4K all the time. Mostly YouTube and Home Sharing with iTunes for downloaded content stored on our NAS. We've tried it on WiFi and Ethernet and find Ethernet much more responsive. I would recommend getting the 128GB version just to have the ethernet port. 5 |

I have tried FreeNAS and other means of having a systematic backup at home as well as file sharing from home but I didn't have success and I am not tech savvy. While the automatic backup through the USB external Drive setup did require a help of a friend I am able to use the new unit as my home cloud and backup system successfully. Even though I needed some technical help of a friend I am still giving a 5star because the product seems to be of a good quality and very feature rich at a price I couldn't find anywhere else. 5 |

We have 4 of these currently deployed in a Synology NAS for local file sharing/backup and a 5th for Synology Surveillance Station as a separate volume. They have not given us any issues and we have had a few of these deployed for 3+ years currently. 5 |
