This is great for a school setting, or anywhere that has a laminating machine. I could see the posters getting messed up if you hang it up as is, but after being laminated its just fine.

This is a smooth, sturdy paper, and I am pleased with the printing results. It's a bright white paper, which is perfect for my laminating projects.

Was nervous a bit because I was laminating by hand using an iron!!! This stuff is amazing. Rather pricey though. I am in Mxico and i was charged 1085 pesos for import and duty fees on top of what I paid for the product.

This is a perfect size to store all your camera equipment, you can fit everything even your film. The machine is silent and the LCD screen doesn't bother you, if you have it in your room. I would buy it again, super happy. The delivery service to Europe form B&H is super :)

Working in the Film & TV industry is all sbout efficiency. As an editor this is how I make a living. Opted for this machine because it's truly the best in performance/price. The machine screams. It's blazing fast. I have a 12core Old Mac Pro (previous gen) and this machine blows it out ofthe water. I have a pegasus2 raid system and 3x30inch monitors attached and I couldn't be happier. Avid or After Effects, this machine tackles all. If you want the best machine performance/price wise look no further! Seriously. Just pull the trigger you will NOT regret it. I went withthe 32GB/Dual D700/1TB SSD version. You should do the same.

I usually don't write reviews on something I purchased elsewhere, but the Wolverine MovieMaker was not available at B&H when I found it on the manufacturer's website. Now that it is I feel compelled to add my 2 cents. I am absolutely thrilled that I can convert my old Super 8 movies from the '70s into digital format and play back on my computer, TV (they include the cable), share with friends and family, on an inexpensive and very well put together and simple to use machine. You can then edit it with any free software (I use VLC), adjust the playback speed for 18 or 24 fps, add sound, voice over, adjust color, then upload to YouTube or share any way you want. I am really thrilled with this product .I don't care that it takes 30 minutes, it's automatic! You put the film reel on, thread it, push the button, and go have a sandwich. As far as the output quality, these were amateur films, the quality wasn't great to begin with and no machine will make them any better. As far as I can tell, whatever is on the film comes out just as good on the conversion. I was married in 1972 and until now the only way I could see videos of my wedding were by setting up the old machine, screen, etc. Or buy the $1,300. unit B&H also sells. I'm so happy Wolverine made this unit! I plan to buy another (from B&H this time 'cause they're the best) to give as a Christmas gift. Would I recommend it? In a heartbeat.

The Plustek 8100 Film Scanner is an exceptionally versatile machine with more desirable features than one would usually use, compared with more expensive units. In addition to the great software the support is outstanding. I would highly recommend this machine for anyone scanning 35mm slides, both mounted and in strip form.

For home use, this is the machine to get. Some expectations in the reviews section here are very high... if you want perfection, don't cheap out: go to a professional post house and get it cleaned and scanned the proper way for $1.25 a foot. Very pleased with this purchase so far. Bought it to scan 60 year old home movies (full of bad splices, torn sprocket holes, etc.), and am very impressed. Others have gone into great detail (and length) on how to properly prep the film, etc., which is the best advice. I'd also make the following suggestions: - For older film, with the high likelihood of torn sprocket holes and bad splices, run the film through the process backwards. Much better result that way, since the machine uses the side of the sprocket hole that is less likely to be torn to reduce jitter (flip it and speed reverse it in post). - Yes, you will have to monitor the scanning process. It is what it is, and you need to be there if the scanner jams (it won't stop on its own). Get used to the noise. - Yes, it takes a long time to scan, but the results are pretty impressive. - Clean the scanner often. - Get an anti-static brush with a stand, and feed the film through it before it goes in. Very helpful in cutting down the dust. All in all, a great product. Well worth the money.
