WD drives continue to be reliable and do exactly what they're supposed to do. I use them for periodic backups of all my data (business, personal, photos, etc.) The My Passport line is compact, and the 4TB size allows me the capacity to fit what needs to fit. I buy them on sale and usually replace my external drives once per year, archiving the one just removed from regular backup service.

Works great but the app requires periodic password input from my iPhone instead of touch

This lav mic is just what I needed for a small video production. It is well constructed and should hold up to periodic use. Very good value for the price. Daily use or more advanced users might find it lacking. As always know your use and pick the right equipment for your needs. this is a very good corded Lav mic. The 20-foot cord will give me enough length and can be wrapped if needed for use with a mobile set up. Great sound and noise attenuation make it worth the small investment for my needs. Don't overestimate it and you should be fine.

In the past and using a straight 1/8-inch to XLR conversion cable, I've had periodic issues of CPU noise bleeding into the audio signal. In my case, I was feeding through a Yamaha PM5D console to the house sound system using Crown amps. NO more! The Peavey USB-P has virtually solved the issue and for less than $100! I highly recommend it.
