Find Best Screen Size For 3000 Lumens Projector

Mounted NEC NP510 3000 lumens 6lb projector perfectly! 5 |

I bought this to replace an older non-wide screen projector. When they say 5000 lumens, they mean it! We can almost turn the room lights all the way up! 5 |

I have over 3000 slides to go through. These are my folks slides from the 50s and 60s. The projector works but dad's bulbs were long gone. The slide projector bulbs are getting harder to find. Of course B&H had them and they are the perfect ones. There is nothing not great about these. Plus, I got them really fast. And... for as hard as they are to find, the price was quite reasonable! 5 |

I didn't immediately find the instructions when I unpacked this projector screen, but I still managed to put it together and open it -- which shows that it's pretty intuitive and easy to use. Folded back up, it has an inconspicuous and even attractive profile. It has proven to be an excellent screen for projected movies. It can be raised or lowered a limited amount -- further adjustment has to be made by positioning the projector. It looks substantial enough to hold up well over time. 5 |

I wanted the most bang for buck i could find with clear image without spending a fortune on home entertainment. I have ceiling mounted set up projecting from the lounge ceiling into a open plan room 3.6m X 3.2M which i call my cinema room (my girlfriend calls it the dinning room). I set the projector at 4.1m which almost fills the 3.2M width of the room. I used the ceiling paint we had and followed it down to the far wall as a screen i bordered it top and bottom with the wall colour (dark olive green)but left the sides as i did not know the projection dimensions of the screen. I thought i would trial that way 1st before buying specific screen paint for the job however i am more than happy with the results with the current set up. The image is crystal clear with rich colours i have not noticed any rainbow effect at the edges of the image. I had read on a review don't look for it as when you do see it, it will be annoying, well i couldn't resist trying to see it and i don't. I would fully recommend this product it exceeds my expectations so much so that i don't bother to have it set to its full potential mainly to preserve lamp life, personally i have not played with any of the advanced settings to optimise the picture quality as i find the ' out of the box' settings are brilliant as they are. I understand that with a few hundred hours on the lamp the picture improves again at the moment i only have 30hrs. The menus are intuitive and the instruction manual is easy to understand and relates well to the screen menus. I like the white sleek design of the projector making is less obtrusive to the room ( blends nicely with the ceiling , white HDMI leads would be nice). from the reviews i read it is not the quietest projector on the market however we sit directly underneath the projector and i do not find the faint fan noise distracting to the viewing experience in fact i believe it enhances the cinematic ambience.... 5 |

The Optoma PRO360w has great resolution from both VGA and HDMI inputs. With a contrast ratio of 3000:1 and 3000 lumens, the picture is clear and crisp from our computer, even in moderately lighted rooms. We mounted it from the ceiling, and the projector's white color is unobtrusive. Using a wireless transmitter/receiver works well in multiple aspect sizes during presentations and instruction. The external speaker port allows us to plug in Logitech speakers and the sound is rich and true when watching movies. This is our second Optoma projector - the first has lasted over 7 years. The PRO360w works well when mounted, and is light enough to use as a mobile projector (we use a quick connect mount). B&H Photo has the best price.... 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We watch all things video, but mostly movies. We have Satellite and Off-Air as well as internet streaming. Our first HD TV was a Samsung 56" DLP light bulb rear projection set. It was the best for HD back in 2003. After 10 years though it failed and we purchased a 70" 4K flat screen. At the time there was no large size DLP 4K sets to choose from at a price we could afford. When that set failed last December we had to find something new. Our son still had his 56" Samsung DLP LED rear projection set (he was between homes and was not using it) and we put it in our living room. Wow is all I can say. I had forgotten how great the DLP was or had gotten used to the Flat screen. Seeing this 12 year old DLP still looking great and only HD was amazing. I had seen on the internet that Samsung had come up with a new short throw projector. So I quickly researched it to see what it was about. It was just what i was looking for. We had been wanting to get a large picture size for some time but couldn't justify the cost as our flat screen was working. When it failed it was all on to find the best and largest picture. The 130" screen size was perfect for our living room. Some have said what's wrong with a 36" screen, no comment is all I can say. When purchased the new Samsung projector we purchased a 120" screen designed for Short throw projectors was ordered. It arrived the day before the projector. All of our view is unbelievable, like going to the theater only you don't drive 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Epson EpiqVision EF11 is most magnificent Laser projector I have ever tried. I used many Epson projectors, they all have their cons and pros. But this? Epson Epiq is awesome. Not only the superb quality that Epson always delivers but also the size have impressed me. Never have I seen such a terrific quality projector in such a small size. Output is great, the further away and bigger the projection screen the better is the quality. Fan is very quiet, the output speakers on Epson is plenty loud. It does come with HDMI and usb ports for pc and usbs but I much prefer and liked the function that it has MirrorCast which I am able to project my whole phone on the screen, no lag, no bugging out whatsoever. The sheer size of this projector is great for travels, especially for camps, just grab a small generator for the power. Pitched the idea of implementing this kind of projectors to my school work place and they are looking into it. Highly recommend it just because of quality and size alone. 5 |
