Find Gps Coordinates On Iphone

This receiver does exactly what I was hoping it would do...automatically capture the GPS coordinates of my photos. It sure saves a lot of time vs. guessing exactly where I was at the time. I am loving it. 5 |

Pretty much set and forget, easy to setup and very reliable, with GPS coordinates, speed and some additional features for vehicles without advanced safety features such as collision warning, traffic moving notification and lane drifting notification (all can be turned off). 5 |

I was looking to add GPS coordinates to my photos on my Canon 5D Mark III. This works seamlessly. I really do not use to logging option but just to get GPS data imbedded in my metadata. It's weather sealed, non-obtrusive and I am please with. It does come at a price. But if you want to add GPS coordinates to your photos, these seems like the way to go rather than 3rd party options. 5 |

I am frustrated that most dslr and mirrorless cameras lack a GPS. Especially for trips to foreign countries I find it really great to have the location recorded. I find it stupid to have to use my iPhone to make sure I have the location. Workarounds connecting time my iPhone are a pain and don’t stay in sync. I use the Canon GPS on my Canon XF400 camcorder and it works great for both video and photos. 5 |

Good camera, lots of options to customize it to your use pattern. The case from this kit barely fits the camera, especially tight fit when you carry an extra battery. Wifi connection to iPhone app works great. Although the absence of GPS in the camera means you have to remember to turn on GPS logging on your phone app before using the camera, which drains your phone battery a lot more. No Mac wifi syncing app, so I have to go back to connecting the sd card to my MacBook. Don't sync all pictures to your phone if you plan to later import from the sdcard because some metadata (like lens info) doesn't transfer to the MacOS Photo.app through the iPhone syncing method. 5 |

Works great on my canon R6! So much better than fumbling around with my iPhone's GPS which was not always dependable. I have been a long time customer of B&H ... always a great shopping experience and they are alway dependable! 5 |

I am not one for shooting anything on an iPhone I plan to publish. However having two Nikon early FX cameras. The GPS attachment might be worth more than the used value of the GPS unit(s). So a trick I learned here on the B&H forums pays off. When I change a Geographic locations I just take a shot, with my iPhone, in that area after about 10 min. Once imported into Light Room the other photos can be associated to the iPhone Geotag Data. Finding no joy in dropping my Phone I got this and attached it to a Purpose Built Handle which was designed for threading into Lens L brackets when a Tripod or Monopod just isn't fast enough or practical... 5 |

Thrilled to have the ability to have GPS info in my shots. I often travel large areas in the fall and can't always find some of the same spots. This will help tremendously. Seems to be quite accurate and works very well on my 5DM3. 5 |
