Find Laptop Serial Number In Windows 10

The switch works great at 10 gb/sec speed, just be sure that the 5th serial number is not 7, as there were problems with these units using jumbo frames @ 10 gb/sec.

The Seagate Thin hard drive in my HP laptop died after three years of heavy use. The HP 11t x360 is a pain to take apart so I chose the San Disk SSD as a way to never replace the drive again (if the laptop lasts another three years). The laptop boots in half the time with the SanDisk SSD, runs cooler with longer battery life. I am impressed with SSD technology! Also, I had forgotten to write the drive serial number down before closing up the laptop. But, B&H had the serial number on the packing slip!

Works great, a little difficult to see the model and serial number to find the driver online, but it would be helpful to a scan code to access it. No issues at all.

On a Google search you'll find Verbatim getting high marks. However, you need to look for the serial number ending in 98319, as there will be very few coasters with this one! I found some for less money elsewhere, but they were NOT this specific pack and one out of four had to be trashed. Be using it to connect a laptop to Ethernet and work works without any issues in Windows 10.

It works like it should. On windows 10 immediately, on 7 it takes some time for the is to find the drivers but then it works also.

I was looking for USB to serial adapter which will work under the Windows 7 and this adapter does exactly that. Even better - Windows 7 already has built-in driver for this adapter!

Tested with Shure SM58S mic on windows 10 PC/Laptop. Works with both.
