It's a product with simple functionality. Just turn on the receiver and you're set. The remote is always on but isn't a battery drainer. There's no lag when using the remote even at near-max distance and it doesn't even have to face the receiver because it's using a wireless signal, not IR. It was the one fear I had and it doesn't even happen. The plastic and button, admittedly, can feel a little flimsy, but it's holding perfect. Time will tell on its durability, but I have no fears. 5 |

Used with Spectrum cable and with digital tv antenna. I did not know that my tv would turn the receiver on and off so when using the Spectrum issued remote it would turn off and back on. Just had to eliminate it from the remote. 5 |
