Firewire To Lightning Bolt Cable

Some might say I'm slow to react--but I don't think I am--except where lightning is concerned. Without a detector, I miss the bolt every time. Not with this little guy, however. I've only had one chance to try it out and it grabbed a bolt I didn't even see. If you want to shoot lightning, this is an easy choice. 5 |

This thing is just extraordinary! The first major photo I took with this lens was a bolt of lightning that hit near by. It totally distorted the plasma bolts. WOW! A lens of this type has it's applications for sure. Yet when it does it, it does it really really well... Money well spent. 5 |

If you've got the old camcorder that needs a FireWire cable for computer input, this cable proves to be smooth as butter. 5 |

After running Lightroom and Photoshop on a MacBook Pro for about 5 years, I finally broke down and bought the Mac Pro. I did not realize how much time I had been wasting, twiddling my thumbs while the old MacBook churned away processing images. The Mac Pro is very fast and quiet and has a nice assortment of ports. After purchasing a Thunderbolt to Firewire adapter, I was able to quickly mount two daisy chained external Firewire drives along with a USB3 drive and a new Thunderbolt backup drive. It is also nice to have the 1TB internal flash drive for software and temporary storage. It took me a while to figure out that I needed a new, Thunderbolt to Display Port cable to connect the Mac Pro to my 27 inch NEC monitor. Once I got the NEC cable and a keyboard, I was quickly up and running with a monitor resolution of 2560 x 1440 (no adaptor required). Although the Mac Pro does not have an optical drive, I learned that it can share the drive on my MacBook Pro using WiFi or an ethernet cable. I was able to use this approach to install some software that I have on CDs. Overall, I am very happy with the Mac Pro. It may be the last computer that I ever buy. 5 |

I'm using the G-raid mini for portable editing with my Macbook Pro. This will be very useful for traveling. I was a little worried that it would be too heavy and bulky to carry around the world with me, but it's actually about half the size of a Lacie Quadra d2 and 1/3 of the weight. Best of all, it's bus powered. The firewire 800 cable is a little short but I just used a cable from another drive and it works fine. Besides, I can understand it it was all part of the compact design. No installation or formatting required for Raid0 and works flawlessly for editing. Protective case is a bonus and extra firewire port is great for transferring files from a separate firewire drive if you only have one firewire port on your Macbook Pro. Exactly what I needed. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Belkin International - BOOST↑CHARGE™ Lightning to USB-A Cable works perfectly. A few days after obtaining the charging cable we went to Mexico and my boost cable worked perfect. I had no issues with charging my iPhone and the charge was unbelievably quick. I left my device was properly protected and the cable length is great. Finding the right cable these days for me has been a challenge but this Belkin International - BOOST↑CHARGE™ Lightning to USB-A Cable is sturdy, the heads fit the charging ports with no force. 5 |

It might be a little thicker then other hard drives, but it has FireWire and that's what is a plus! 5 |
