First Photo Of Moon

First time owner of a scope and I'm happy with this purchase. I have only used it twice since getting it but I saw the moon through it and it was an incredible thing to see through lens and with my very own eyes that it did not look real! I could not believe the detail I was seeing through this telescope. Great price and you can always add on eye pieces just like a camera for more depth. Definitely recommend this telescope. 5 |

First and foremost, I was able to capture good shots off the bat. The lens is very well built - solid. With this comes the weight. When mounted with a non-mirrorless body it’s fairly heavy-so much so I call it the tank. The lens has vibration control but I did have a number images that were blurred by movement. This is more my issue than the lens. The 2nd time using it I leveraged my tripod and was able to get some dramatic sunsets. Prior to sunset I captured an image of the moon it was so clear you could see the detail on the moon’s surface - that blew me away. As for B&H, they shipped it and it got here quick. The price was very reasonable given the power of the unit. If I had to do it again, I would buy the same one again. 5 |

This telescope is a wonderful addition to our night time activities. The abilities it has are phenomenal. We have already been able to see the moon in a way e have never seen before. As far as B&H Photo, the first telescope we received was damaged in transit by FED EX. I contacted B&H and they handled it expeditiously and went above and beyond with customer satisfaction. ! 5 |

This filter was easy to use. It screwed onto the bottom of all of my lenses. Views of the moon were improved. I also played with views of Jupiter with this filter, but Jupiter was too dim to be enhanced by this filter, at least where I was located near a city. I posted my moon photo (attached) on social media and got a lot of positive reactions and comments. Everyone likes detailed photos of the moon. The photo doesn't do justice to what I saw with my eye. Can't wait to get views of the termination line in the future. 5 |

I got this to do some sun and moon photo shots. Used it yesterday and the results were something else. There is a learning curve (and software) in taking the photos to do this shot. 5 |

I have been taking pictures since my first pinhole camera in grade school (over 40 years ago). Over the years I have upgraded my equipment (body) but never the lens. I have always used the kit lens that came with the camera. Money was always the reason for not getting better glass. After a lot of research and saving my pennies, I was able to get the Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6L IS USM Lens. Within just a few test shots I learned that upgrading to a more expensive lens is worth it. The attached photo is just a simple test picture of the moon, at 6 am, without a tripod. In the past I was never able to get clear images of the craters on the moon. In a nut shell, I found it was definitely worth the money to get a better lens. And B&H photo did a great job in shipping the lens! It was ordered late Saturday night and was at my door by Thursday! Oh...there is a problem with this lens. From my understanding, this lens is no longer in production. If you find one and think you want it, get it. These are very hard to find. 5 |

I recently purchased the Celestron Moon filters do use with a Celestron AstroMaster 130. Although I am new to astronomy and am just learning the ropes, I am already impressed with their performance. The filters reduce the brightness of the moon and enhance the visibility of its details. I am especially pleased that they make it easier to observe the moon with less eye strain. The filter is easy to install and the build quality seems solid. I would recommend Celestron Moon filters to anyone looking to enhance their lunar observing experience. 5 |
