Fisheye Underwater Bait Boat Camera

I use this for my underwater strobes. Saw one on a boat, and liked the 8 bay function... covers both sets of batteries. so far ....it works perfectly. give me a month or 2 in sea air and I'll let you know if it's indistructable!

I have two of these now because I found that I was worrying too much about bringing an SLR out on a dive boat for jobs. I had a black Pelican 1520 for my underwater cameras and I was pleased to get this one in a distinguishable color for the dry camera. Very sturdy protection and the pick and pluck foam allows you to custom fit it to anything that you you need to protect. I have a large SLR, 2 lenses, a speedlight and various other stuff in this one and there's room for more in case I lose my mind and get that macro lens I've been coveting...

Great flashlight, especially for the price. I used this underwater to look at the prop on my boat. Super bright white light. Impressed.

Add this fisheye to a 10cm dome port and that's it! The image quality is amazing and you don't get that tunnel vision effect you have when using SLRs with fish eyes and minidome ports due do the image distortion associated with the dome. Whith this lens and the 10cm dome you get one of the best superwide-angle you can dream of for underwater photography. The minimum focus distance is about 0cm from the dome, so you can get as close as you can. The only draw back is that it won't be so easy to take over-under shots with small-moderate sized waves, as it would be with a 20cm dome, you will have to be more patient. On the oher hand you gain reach and manouverability in tight places. If I would use it only for dry photography, I'd test the fisheye manual lenses from kenko/samyang/bower, and, if the IQ matched I'd get one of these instead. My final word is, this lens coupled with a 10cm (4,33 inches) is one of the cheapest and best sets for underwater wide-angle photography in the market.

I utilize this lens in an underwater housing behind a 230mm dome port for fantastic fisheye images of reefs, big animals and above/below water.

Because there are no straight lines underwater, this fisheye is the perfect lens to capture as much in the frame as possible without distortion. Fantastic piece of glass.

I bought this camera to try and using it saves me time to walk out swap cards and I know how my bait pile is doing. Because I had this camera I knew my target buck was coming in every few hours and shooting it a big factor was the camera

I took shots at dark. The camera saw what I could not. It is going to be quite useful in my underwater adventures.
