There is a bit of a learning curve, but once you're past that, you simply cannot find this level of quality at this price point, I don't give a shi@ what anyone claims. All the difficulties some people have had seem to stem from the lack of proper balance. The camera MUST be balanced correctly. This is the part that is the most frustrating and took a weekend to figure out how to do. If the gimbal wobbles or shakes, it is not balanced correctly. There is NO other problem or reason. It's that simple. Zhiyun spokesman has a YouTube video about correcting problems by balancing correctly, which sometimes takes very minute adjustments, (remember what I said about frustration). Just be patient and keep adjusting, you'll get it. The camera should be able to be rotated in any direction and hold that position, with the gimbal powered off. When it does, it is perfectly balanced. Then you can turn the gimbal on. The camera will need to be a bit stripped down for this. Just watch and trust the video. There is NO need to make all the tweaks and adjustments in app that others have done and suggest in their videos. If it shakes or wobbles when turned on, it is not balanced correctly. The gimbal will hold and keep a perfectly balanced camera, it will not set a perfect balance for you. This you have to do. If the gimbal won't wake from sleep mode, you must connect it to your computer, download the Zhiyun driver from their website and download and update the firmware for your particular gimbal model. I use this for deep space and planetary imaging. If you align it correctly, it has great tracking capabilities, however the longer the exposure, the more chance of slight trailing off you will get. 5 |
