charge super fast, so I'm really happy with it but the charger sometimes can be a little bit too hot. and it's 2022 guys, make a 3 USB-C type cus i've to buy an additional USB-A to charge my phone. none comes with old-style type A anymore. 5 |

I purchased the XG24 direct from Ubiquiti in 2022. It's been solid since its install. All 24 copper ports support 100M/1G/2.5G/5G/10G so it makes a great core switch or server switch. I'm using mine as a connection point for 2 10G NASs and to feed network connectivity to UPSs. Under normal load it's a slight bit noisier than the USW-Agg Pro and runs a bit warmer. Neither the noise or heat has been an issue for me in a home office. However if the fans spool up, you'll certainly notice. Granted noise isn't normally a prime concern with a switch of this type. Overall for my use case I'm very happy and can recommend. If you need more than 4 ports of multi-gig and are tied into the Unifi system the XG24 is a good investment. 5 |

I bought seven of these over the course of spring 2022. Five of them came exactly as pictured, while two were machined to a slightly narrower diameter at the base (the diameter of the ring with the knurled grip on it). Also, the narrower units had little to no bevel where the 3/8 female threads meet the flat bottom face of the item. In comparison, the 5x units matching the picture have a significant bevel, as you can see for yourself in the photo. Finally, all my units came with a plastic cap that threads onto the 1/4 tip. I'm providing this info in case it helps someone in the future, as these variations could mean the difference between a good fit and a bad fit in certain applications. Altogether, I'm completely satisfied with the 7x units I purchased. 5 |
