Simple install, nice connector fit (not too stiff). Heat sink install diagram out of date, turns out OWC updated the chip layout. Their support team was super responsive and sent a new diagram. Makes sense which chip to affix the heatsink to, and while it hangs off the side of the PCB, everything still fits perfectly under the Mac Pro 2013 outer shell, and temps appear controlled and consistent with the factory SSD. Nice to have the Envoy Pro enclosure included, restoring from that was much faster than the Time Machine backup on my NAS. Day to day operational speed is noticeably improved as well. Unexpected bonus: Boot Camp actually plays nicely with the new drive, despite the 6,1 Mac Pro not having official compatibility. The BC Assistant partitioned the drive with no complaints, and Windows 10 installed and runs fine. However, the outgoing Boot Camp partition on the factory SSD can't boot, but we expected that (error INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE, despite guides on injecting device drivers). So awesome upgrade, with bonus Boot Camp use. 5 |

I've installed 4 of these units on 2 softball field press boxes and for a boot camp and archery range on a university campus for announcements and background music. I paired them with some jbl outdoor speakers 8 and 12 version and it is a wonderful setup. both owners are in love with them. they were producing absolutely NO hiss whatsoever. very very good amp. 5 |

I learned to shoot with iron sight when I went through Marine Boot camp over 20 years ago. At 41 I realized that I there is nothing wrong with getting a little help from a scope. I chose the Burris because a friend of mine had one. The image is clean and crisp. The lens caps are good quality, and I love that you can choose red or green illumination. I took it to the range and was able to zero out of the box with only 10-15 rounds without a bore-siter. My shot groups at 100 yards were pretty tight. I would highly recommend this sight. 5 |

Replaced a 27 iMac 3.3/32GM/2TB FU with this beast. Do video work mostly and this is does the job much much quicker and cleaner. Processes that employ a single processor seem to run a tad bit slower than on the old machine; however, anything that enjoys/employs multiple CPU usage fly. Always have plenty of processing left for normal mundane chores such as email, internet browsing, eight security cameras, recording 3 channels of HD TV, and watching videos on the 2nd monitor @ 2560x1440 . Packaging and shipment were excellent. The Apples standard box is extremely durable and weighs more than the unit itself; but easy to unpack the iMac Pro and get it set up. Upgraded mac OS to Mojave 10.14.1 and run Windows 10 Update 1803 over Boot Camp. Both work great now, no thanks to Microsoft. For the Boot Camp side, pay close attention to turning off power management within the Windows Device Manager for external USB Hard Drives and Raid Arrays. I also had to uninstall the Video Adapter in Windows Device Manager to circumvent some odd display and performance issues - display appeared to have a burnt graphics chip complete with stripped display, etc... even though there wasnt anything wrong with the hardware. Overall an excellent buy and I am completely satisfied, Now to sell my old configuration - when you do this, the system will automatically restart to reinstall the Video Adapter. Totally recommend B & H - decent price (lower than my local Apple Store) and spot on delivery schedule. Purchased with additional hardware and software - all received on the scheduled delivery date in excellent condition. Excellent job B & H!!! 5 |

Putting the foot camp so close to the camera body leaves the whole rig very prone to vibration when using a tripod or monopod. In this respect the Kirk replacement foot is no better than the Nikon original. Used with the Kirk foot this gadget provides much needed stability when using a tripod. Of course you have to buy the Kirk foot as well making the whole package which ain't cheap. The lens stabilizer from Really Right Stuff is a bit more rigid but far more expensive and more than twice the weight making it less practical for field use. I would never be wityhout the Kirk when Im after max IQ and not willing to carry my 500mm f4.0. 5 |
