Fit For A Watcher Quest

I wanted to protect my Sky-Watcher EQ6R-Pro telescope tripod for extended travels where I would need to ship my equipment. It is a perfect fit. I transferred my equipment from the original shipping box over to the Pelican's chest - used a little foam to secure and snug the contents - PERFECT! The 2 locks will also secure the contents while in transit. I am able to fit this in the back seat of a Honda Civic, so it should fit in most cars or trucks. The best thing is the wheels that allow for an easy tot to the location. This helps keep everything organized and stable. B&H was quick to get it out to me and the staff was knowledgable and friendly - the price was right also.

First, I really don't know where to start. I've only had this scope out a few times due to weather conditions, but it definitely doesn't disappoint! All of the specs, pros and cons are available scattered across the web, but in my novice opinion the scope truly is a Beauty in the Beast. The fit and finish; included accessories like the hard travel case on wheels (you will need the wheels), field flattener, mounting rings, diagonal and spotting scope are all typical Sky Watcher. There is no included eyepiece. I have three Sky Watcher mounts and they all perform flawlessly. All I needed to purchase was an adapter to fit my Nikons. A Canon adapter is included. The Beauty in this scope is in the optics. Stars are unbelievably bright and sharp all the way to the edge of the field thanks to the huge glass up front and the dedicated flattener. The 2 3.4 focuser is very well constructed and includes a built in lock to hold the focus solid even with my heavy DSLR Nikons. The Beast in this scope is the weight. It's a large, heavy scope and a big step up from my WO Z61. Make certain your mount can handle not only the weight, but the bulk when it slews. I added an after market D-bar and handle to the top of the mounting rings just to assist in having a firm grip on the scope while mounting and un-mounting. I have this mounted on the Sky Watcher EQ6R Pro and it handles the weight of the scope and all my add ons easily. The attached Andromeda image was taken with 4 min unguided subs in class 5 Bortle skies on a Nikon D750. The EQ6R and Esprit APO 120 combo is amazing. Secondly, I cant say enough about B&H. I have purchased 99% of all my camera and computer gear over the years from them. Recommended them to others. I have to admit, I've rarely spoken to a product adviser with the exception of my computer purchase, but their customer service is top notch in regards to pricing, returns and fast shipping. Ordered this for my two spare mirrorless batteries to help in my perpetual quest to be a bit more organized. The fit is perfect and I can now find my spares when I need them. The case is good quality and easy to stow in my camera bag. Batteries fit well, even with the protective plastic end cap on.

In my experience with the Quest 2 it felt really immersive but the pro headset that I paid extra for, doesn't fit right to everybody's heads.

I found this adapter ring very useful in my quest to photograph nature & architecture. I now have the 72mm, 77mm and the 82mm. It fit's snug and that's a good feeling considering the investment that I have in the Lee system.

I love using the Meta Quest 2, the offerings within the product line are great. The fit could be a little more comfortable and from time to time there's a little glitching at start up but otherwise really good quality device/system.

All in all I've really enjoyed my quest 2 thus far. My main complaint revolved around the comfort of wearing it with glasses. Even with the glasses insert the fit isn't great and the headset tends to slide making things blurry. The width is barely wide enough to fit my glasses and when I remove the headset glasses tend to come off with it. Otherwise great product.

If you're thinking about getting an oculus quest 2, just do it.
