Fit Tracker 2.0 Change Time

i bought this to backup photos. i got this model because it has the 2.0 and 3.0 usb port and if i change over to mac i can still use it, you would just have to reformat it. its size is great. i put into a small fire proof safe. you never want to be that family that loses everything. best price i could find. i live about 50 miles from the warehouse in brooklyn ...

This is a very nice, easy to setup and use tracker, The fit and finish are fine and the results (prior to the 2017 eclipse) have been astounding. If your doing astrophotography, this is a great and cost efficient way to work with a DSLR and telephoto lens.

I saw this recommended to fit between my Move Shoot Move star tracker and the ballhead under my camera body. It solves the problem of the ballhead directly on the MSM coming loose as it rotates throughout the evening. I use the set screws on the undreside of the QS-50 to get a tighter connection on the MSM. So far I have been using it to do longer sub frames and for up to two hours without any problems.

I purchased this to attach from my Nikon to a star tracker. This size was too big to fit into the star tracker. I am hanging on to it because it will fit something else. I ordered the Vello 2.5 mm remote shutter release cable and believe that will work the tracker. The cable releases from Vello seem to be dependable.

It works very well and you can change back ground any time.

I have been using this tracker over the last 2 years since its initial launch. After two years of photographing exclusively with this unit at night and working with 100+ units in different astrophotography workshops, I think I have enough experience to give an honest review. It's a genius idea packed with a ton of features, but the learning curve on this tracker is hard. Many things are not straightforward, and it's normal to feel overwhelmed and frustrated at first. On top of that, Benro doesn't offer a comprehensive manual, which creates even more confusion and makes you feel desperate as you don't know what can be wrong. However, if you put the time and practice, what you can do with this tracker is simply magical. I have been automating tracked panoramas for 2+ hours while I was sleeping on my tent while camping, or while capturing the reflection of the Milky Way, which would be impossible otherwise. At this moment, it's my main star-tracker, and I wouldn't change it for any other. I have been using the Star Adventurer tripod, with my Star Adventurer tracker. But when it came time to do my polar alignment: turning the latitude base, towards Polaris, the latch (on their tripod) made it difficult to do that. I struggled with it. But with this tripod, the knob makes it so much easier to turn the whole base towards Polaris. It's big enough to grasp and turn the tracker towards Polaris and lock it in. This made it a time saver for me out in the field.

I've used the tile tracker to find my phone wallet and meter bag on several occasions and it has come through each time a total winner
