I use this product to give more flexibility to recording my vocals and various other tracks before they pass into my recording software. Lots of great effects, and a cleanly designed arrangement of features and controls. The manual was clear and concise, which I like. The only thing I would suggest adding is a power switch. 5 |

I am researcher who conducts many interviews. I really like that this recorder can just sit on a table and have multi-directional sound pick up. The quality is crisp and it is easy to transfer the tracks to a computer and edit them on the recorder or on the software included with the recorder. Though this devise is easy to use, it has many features and took a bit of time to learn to use. I did encounter one confusing feature. In 4 band stereo surround sound mode, it actually records 2 separate tracks as 2 files. I wanted them combined. I eventually figured out that I could merge them right on the recorder. I also figure that that is possible in the computer software included but I have yet to figure that out. Overall, a great device and I wouldn't have chosen it without the stellar customer service at B&H's store on 9th Avenue. 5 |
